For safety and convenience, they have two separate fenced sections, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Be sure to take note of the posted rules. There's a water station to refresh your pets after they are done frolicking and socializing with their playmates! Today there was a dog festival and people with their pooches came from all over town! There were several tables set up selling dog treats, handmade dog toys, t-shirts, baked goods and more. This, of course, made the barking lot crowded! They could definitely expand the parking! In the summer, pools are filled so your pups can cool off with a swim. For pooch lovers, this is a hound haven... but for me it was a bit too mutt-ch. I did, however, run into several friends who had their loyal canines with them so I had fun being the pup-arazzi! The rest of the park was full of families enjoying the other amenities at this park like the playground and picnic areas. The facilities were well maintained. Tails are wagging at this paw-some dog park where "man's" best friend can raise the woof! If your nose isn't used to doggie smells, it may be a little ruff! They loved that and my 4 year old ended up with flour all over her pants. SHE REALLY GOT INTO IT. LOL. Then to complete the dog biscuits they rolled dough, pressed the dog shaped biscuit cookie cutter into the dough and added a few swipes of butter to coat it and added a pinch of cinnamon and sugar and since its just a,short class, they let them try samples of them they had already baked. Next station was strawberries with mascapone icing. They used a straw to push out the stem and then cut it in half and added icing. Oh man think that was the favorite station for all three of my kiddos. My 4 year old was like, "mmmm." Hehe. The other two kids inhaled it without much talking which means it was agreeable to their sometimes fussy pallets. You know how kids are if ur a parent or nanny. FUSSY. LOL. NEXT and final station was biscuit/croissant making. It was equivalent to making Pillsbury dough biscuits but way cooler. They told them ingredients used to make dough, played with flour and made a cup of flour again as before, rolled out dough again, rolled into a small crossaint, buttered it and added spices to it. If there has been time to make it they would have done something for 8 mins I think. Idk what temperature tho. They tried yet another sample. Seriously I can't rave about this place enough. Staff was amazing. The bakers/employees hired are professional to be on TV, super helpful and FUN. They have cooking classes for like $30/kid or $99 for monthly classes I think she said. These boys did NOT pay for this ride and felt they could push motorcycles around and jump on the back of other children's motorcycles. NO ONE from Kids Empire supervised or monitored this area. Although I asked these boys to leave my grandchildren alone, they persisted. My granddaughter's motorcycle was pushed against a wall and her foot was pinned between a metal bar and the motorcycle. She was unable to put weight on her foot; took her to urgent care and for x-rays. Nothing broken, but on crutches. Unless you want to supervise your children and other children, this place is a free-for-all and accidents waiting to happen.

I stood on the line for close to 20 minutes when I finally get up there, the cashier says I need to complete the waiver. I did have the waiver done before I arrived, but on their end my children's names didn't populate so the cashier says I need to stand on a different (long) line, complete the waiver again then get back on another long line to return to get to get wrist bands and socks. I expressed I didn't want to get back on the long line after standing there already. She looked at me with attitude and didn't even acknowledge what I was saying. This is when I'd normally leave a business but my kids were eager to participate. So I went on both long lines again just for admissions. Once inside tables were very dirty if empty. I went to the concession stand asked for spray to clean myself. The staff told me I needed to wait because he was making orders. I waited then I finally saw a janitor staff. He was actually very kind and helped me right away. (That's why I'm giving an extra star). Later my kids wanted to play the arcade games. I didn't realize the kiosk was on the arcade floor but I asked 4 different staff members where I can purchase the arcade card. None of them knew. They finally asked a supervisor and he directed me. Pros: spacious, they can host parties, food on site, zip line, different experience than most activity spaces in the area, custom packages with tier leveled access Cons: price not worth experience, socks which are mandatory are an extra expense, staff not well trained yet I think they will probably improve once they're established a bit longer, but for now it seems like they weren't prepared to open despite there being so many employees.
