Met the ladies up for dinner and drinks. I wanna say my G&T was around $6 during happy hour, which is a great deal. The calzone was huge, but not enough meat and heavy on the cheese. Grilled chicken portion was meager on my salad. Pretzel bites were ok. I was expecting the smooth, darker pretzel bread and not their bumpy pizza dough. Food and drinks arrived quickly. I placed the takeout order for the calzone at the same time as my salad and would've preferred they waited until I was ready to leave to make it, instead of being kept under a warmer the hours we were there dining. I wouldn't say this location was quite good compared to other Mellow Mushrooms in Florida that I've been to in the past and never had any issues with those locations. Here's why I gave this Mellow Mushroom location a low star rating is due to the quality of service from the staff like for an example my mother's cobb salad had feta cheese all over it and my caesar salad didn't have much of any salad dressing just had the salad, some croutons and rest was cheese all over it. The service from the staff was hit and miss the waitress came by only twice to check on everything then no one came back except to drop off the bill in which they didn't tell anyone they charge a percentage fee over the bill cost. They need to tell their customers/guest about percentage fee they charge when paying by debit/credit card. For what the bill cost $70 dollars for four people I would expect better service and better quality of food taste. The sweet tea tasted waterdown and same with the unsweet tea my mother and I wasn't offered anything else in place of our drinks. If someone pays for this high of a price for a group of four people or more the customer/guests would expect to get better outcome on how the food taste and same with drinks. I've been to other pizza restaurants around the states I know what pizza and salads are suppose to taste like but this pizza and salad should never have been served to a customer greasy, over powering on the sauce when the pizza was suppose to be light sauce. Keep in mind if you have a children/kids and you get seated at a table close to the bar just be careful the language from the guest does get nasty like our experience and the management and bartender was allowing the people to continue on with the foul language nobody wants to hear it. Ambiance is casual but extremely noisy from how close you are next to other customers/guest especially around the bar inside of this location. read more

EXTREMELY disappointed in my experience. Arrived at least an hour and a half before closing and was told they couldn't seat us due to a "maintenance issue"... there were guests seated without their food yet and employees still making food so clearly the kitchen was still open and working. Plenty of seating available. Plenty of employees. Drove over an hour and waited in traffic to specifically come here and this location. The employees could barely get it out and avoided eye contact when saying they were closing early... extremely disappointed in my experience as someone who comes here frequently, along with a bunch of my family members. Mellow Mushroom did okay today. I wouldn't say great, but it was pretty good. The Caesar salad is always good here, and today was no exception. I always order their Caesar salad, because it never disappoints. I also made my own calzone with jalapenos, mushroom trio, pepperoni, meatball and black olives. It was a very large calzone as you can see. However, both ends really didn't have any toppings in them, but I know that is pretty normal in a calzone. I will say I was not really a fan of the sauce at all, it was VERY thick almost like just eating tomato paste. They have a great beer selection, so of course I had to take participate. The biggest issue was when the bill came it was like $52 after tip. Apparently it adds up quick when you build your own. I did have 2 beers too, so partially my fault. So I've been to a Mellow Mushroom in a different location and liked it. So tonight I came here with an expectation. I ordered the Pacific Rim. Here's how it went: The Good: - got seated right away around 5:30pm on a Friday night. - staff was very friendly - pizza came out as ordered an a reasonable amount of time - flavor was nice and the flavor of the sauce was noticeable - the small is a 10" and is plenty for a single person, perhaps with leftovers - restaurant was clean, normal noise level, and well decorated The Not So Good: - biggest complaint? Not fresh toppings. Jalapeños were from a jar, not fresh. Pineapple was the large chunk kind from a can, not fresh. Ham looked like sliced lunch meat, and while I can't confirm it, it was a bit lacking. Fresh toppings on a pizza go a long way for flavor. I want the jalapeño flavor, not the jarred flavor. Just disappointing. - crust, while delicious, was soggy in the middle. Cooked, but so thin it turned soggy from the toppings. Bottom Line: I like this place. The food is usually good. I don't think I'd get the same thing again, but it is still a nice place. If they had fresher toppings, the stars would go up. read more

We have been to more than 10 different mellow mushrooms across the country ( Oxford, AL, Raleigh, Asheville, Boone and Blowing Rock,NC, Clearwater, Port Orange and St Augustine, FL, Charleston, SC to name a few). All have always been very dog friendly on the patio with the best service which has made it a favorite chain of ours when we travel. Unfortunately the Mellow Mushroom in Warner Robbin's does not live up to that reputation. Despite other restaurants around who are dog friendly on the patio, they (Kaitlin) rudely asked us to leave after we were seated, embarrassing us and managing the situation in an unprofessional way. She stated that only service animals (not on the ground) were allowed, none could be on a leash on the ground. Our oldest is a registered service animal and we have a puppy in training but their complete lack of knowledge of the rules and their rude approach made us decide not to patronize this Mellow Mushroom (and honestly tainted our view of the chain overall). Additionally, the table next to us had a barking dog in a stroller that was permitted to stay. Overall, this Mellow Mushroom needs to review their policies and train their staff in customer service and sensitivity. We left and went to a friendly establishment across the street (Black Barley) where we and the dogs were greeted with smiles and kindness and enjoyed a great lunch. I'd recommend patronizing other local restaurants who are professional and friendly and avoiding this one. read more

Apparently I came on one of the busiest nights because the parking lot is filled! Luckily my friend was able to get us a table by the time I found a parking spot. So trivia night is on Thursdays.... hahaha now I know! We got the pretzel with cheese dip, bruschetta, and a medium mighty meaty pizza. I can honestly say I was not disappointed with any of it. Yes we ordered a lot.. but who doesn't love cold pizza the next day? Service was great, everything was served in a timely manner. It was fun trying to guess trivia answers even though we weren't even playing really. The atmosphere is great, everyone was having fun and it was exiting watching our neighbor yell when she got the right answer. I was visiting from out-of-town and amazed at the size of this establishment was. While it was not crowded, if it was you still would have space to not feel cramped. I can't believe that I've never reviewed this place. It's one of my favorites when I'm seeing a movie in Warner Robins or when someone is visiting Middle Georgia. All the pizzas are good. The crust is chewy and delicious and the ingredients are top quality. They likewise have an excellent selection of drinks. For my most recent visit I had the cheesy bread sticks and the veggie pizza, both of which were outstanding. The bread sticks were just the right level of soft and gooey and went perfectly with the marinara sauce. The veggie pizza was also great, although it could have used a higher concentration of toppings (e.g., there's only one tomato slice per pizza slice). Indeed, it's the shortage of toppings that are the only reason I'm giving four rather than five stars. Still a favorite! read more

Looking at the reviews, I guess this location is a hit-or-miss. Unfortunately for us, we came in on the wrong day. Sunday mid-afternoon, only a handful of tables were occupied so I thought, perfect timing. Oh boy, I was wrong. We got seated right away but it took quite a while for our server to get our drink orders (and our food order). While waiting, I watched our server helplessly run between each and every table to get everyone accommodated. She was the only one running the floor! She was even taking care of the tables on the patio. I think there was another server but for the most part, she was only there to help out. 50 minutes into waiting, we followed up on our order. We were told that they have our order; no further explanation was given. 2 hours later, we finally got our pizza. My date and I vsited the Mellow Mushroom on Lakejoy in Warner Robin's, GA on 1/09/2022, and was treated like we did not exist. Several customers who came in after us were seated, received their drinks and appetizers, before us. (And we were never asked about drinks). The restaurant was not full, and to our surprise the waiter in our area never acknowledged us. Even after helping the people seated at the table next to us. After 30-45 minutes of being ignored, we decided to leave. We will never visit this restaurant again. I don't want to say it was due to us being the only people of color in the restaurant. The bartender stated it was due to lack of sales but I do not believe that and am certain this was an owner/manager "statement".
