After researching with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, I discovered that Embassy Loans does not hold a Title Loan Lender License under Chapter 537, Florida Statutes -- which is required for this kind of loan. They publicly market "auto title loans," yet only hold a consumer finance license (Chapter 516), which does not authorize loans using a car title as collateral. Under Florida law, unlicensed title loans are considered void, and lenders may be required to refund all money collected. I've since filed a formal complaint with state regulators and the Attorney General. If you're considering a loan here, verify their license first and understand your rights before signing anything.

The location was very clean and the ATM outside that we used looked like it was recently wiped down because it seemed very clean as well. There is a drive-thru at this location if you wanted to stay in your car while you need to stop here. I liked that the location had a nice amount of cameras around so I felt safe while I waited for our trip here to be finished.
