I have pretty severe seasonal allergies, so I was excited to see them advertise local honey. Turns out, not all of their honey is local to my area. I purchased a 2 quart jar of their blackberry honey a few weeks ago. Later, at home, I noticed that the label said "Oregon Reserve," but also "California Grade A Honey." I went to their website to see if there was any clarification of where the honey is from and found none. I brought this to the attention of the owner, who informed me that their blackberry honey used to be from their farm, but now they order it from Oregon-- no longer local to my area. They also have one other type of honey that is not local. This isn't clearly stated anywhere on the labels nor on the website. For anyone else it might be fine. But for anyone who buys food with specific intentions and for medical purposes, it is not. I was assured I'd experience all of the other health benefits to the Oregon honey, but it still doesn't treat the thing I specifically bought it for. If the jar had been clearly labeled, I would have bought a different kind. I will not be purchasing from here again.

There is lots of local vendors, food trucks, artisans selling handcrafted goods. There are also several shops and restaurants open in the area. Live music acts through the market. Kid and family friendly. I highly recommend this farmers market happening in historic Downtown Murrieta on the first and third Thursday of each month from 5-9 p.m.

The prices are somewhat reasonable and the service is welcoming. I brought a friend back and we both purchased several items. Hailey was our cashier and she is such a light! Not only great customer service but she wrapped and each of our items thoughtfully, finishing off with a bow-making them appropriate for gift giving and one less thing to wrap. I have my own small biz and she complimented my dove necklace, inviting me to call the owner to find out more about bringing some of my Tapestry items to marketplace, so I'll definitely be stepping out of my box to do that! The products are fresh, all natural, and of course, locally grown. The staff was helpful, and I learned they don't use harmful chemical pesticides or fertilizers, which is a huge plus. The farm stand is a nice size, shaded from the sun, with beautiful views of the Fallbrook hills. Peaceful too! I purchased a few jars of fresh honey and a sourdough loaf, the honey on toasted sourdough was a delicious treat. I also picked up some crisp green beans. They had a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, all of which looked fresh and beautifully grown. I'll be back when I need more fruits and vegetables. They now offer a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscription too. I'm looking forward to trying one, since I already get a CSA box from a nearby farm. They offer both delivery and pick-up options. If you appreciate fresh produce, definitely make a stop!

They have a little shop full of chocolates and when you enter, a staff member offers you a sample. She asked what we would like to try while kids received a milk chocolate with sprinkles on it. Because they're probably made with a lot of love and labor, the chocolates aren't cheap but not ridiculously overpriced either. I'm for sure the type though who would have spent a lot more on the chocolates if the tickets were cheaper but that's just me. I'm sure the ticket sales are better. A lot of people do walk out with purchasing any chocolate when I was there. I had fun looking at all of them though and deciding what I wanted. The prices are a little high but it's well worth it to support our local farmers. The fruits and veggies are always nice and fresh. I am an absolute stickler when it comes to the toxins that go into our bodies from the food we eat, to the water we drink, to the clothes we wear, to even the air we breath and more... And with primal pastures, I am completely convinced that everything they put their name behind is the ABSOLUTE gold standard. And by gold standard I mean it is the way God intended it to be and the way humans were created to live. We have the family membership: my wife and 3 kids, ages ranging from 10 months old to 5 years old and we visit the farm for fresh air and sunlight every single week. The people and community are friendly, the landscape is green and beautiful, so much beautiful nature. Our visit to the farm has become a routine for our whole family, a sort of decompression from the stresses of everyday life. The kids absolutely love it, the hours fly by when we're there but the minutes move slowly in the most relaxing way. The seasonal fruit and vegetable pickings is a definite plus as well, (the kids love going and picking blackberries and cherry tomatoes when they're available!).
