The lobby is itty bitty, which was the basic theme of this entire hotel. We reserved a corner king suite. It wasn't a corner room and definitely didn't feel like a suite. It did have a king bed with just enough room for a rollaway bed at the foot of it for our daughter. This left barely enough room to walk from one side to the other. Our view was of a wall of windows on the other side of a small courtyard. Bathroom was adequate. Shower was very moldy, but had sufficient water pressure. The construction noise is ever present. From early to late. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast was very good, but pricey at around 32 euro pp. You'll pay a premium for this hotel solely for the location. Everything was within about a mile from us. Otherwise, this hotel is just....meh.

Great hotel with one downfall. [airport transfer service]…read more We selected this hotel based on its close proximity to the CDG airport AND that they advertise free shuttle from and to the airport. We arrived at the airport and called the number and the recording stated no shuttle available and we need to get own transport. Then when we arrived at the hotel, they said they can only provide shuttle to one terminal and not the other due to airport regulations and of course, it was our terminal. HOWEVER, the front desk staff (Emir and another which I forgot to get her name) listened to our concerns and frustrations and were able to contact Marriott to highlight the website's false information and they kindly arranged transport for us the next morning. They did a GREAT job resolving the mishap and were very kind through the process. I must say - this was the BEST Marriott staff at correcting a problem. Kudos to this team! Hotel itself was nice, clean, and was somewhat close to CDG. The staff at the restaurant and bar were also very kind. What started out as super frustrating when we landed at CDG ended up being a relaxing last night in Paris. Would I go back? Yes.

We did notify the front desk, and to their credit, had the machines fixed the next day! Excellent follow up. There's so much to like about this hotel. Reasonably priced. Accommodating staff. Decent size rooms. We arrived several hours ahead of check in and they found us a room that was ready. Currently undergoing renovation, there's a warm in the hallways from the dark lacquered wood doors. But many of the doors have scratches, like someone tried to break in. Carpets are clean. The elevators are modern. But there's still plenty that needs attention. The breakfast buffet seems to be in another arrondissement (in US terms-another zip code.). But the buffet was excellent, so I just accepted that I got my steps in before breakfast. The elevators can be a bit temperamental, often skipping floors or up when you press down. We were also surprised to see a room service tray sitting outside all night. But the really big "ding" was our bath. It was serviced with only one hand towel and one bath towel. No washcloths. The tub was also a concern. The step-in was at least 2 feet tall, making it exceptionally difficult to safely enter. Particularly when there's no bath mat or anti-slip surface. And speaking of the tub surface, the porcelain had a huge chip in it. Would I stay here again? Of course. But it's these little things that separate Le Meridien from 5 stars.

The room was adequate for a nights stay, and the staff were very accommodating; the location is great for the local vibe, local restaurants that deliver authentic cuisine without the tourist experience. Moxy's are part of the Marriott group…read more I have used them quite a bit as I travel solo. They always seem to be near the right location for me. They also seem to be geared more towards the 20 and 30 something crowds. Large lobbies with bright colors. Several sitting areas. Wall with games. A breakfast/ snack area. It ranges on location what each offers for food. And a bar. The bar is actually where you check in when you arrive. The rooms are small. Watch your toes so you don't kick the end of the bed walking by. The room size doesn't bother me. I want a clean and safe place to shower and sleep and Moxy's have always provided that at great rates. Bathrooms also vary some. From fabulous walk-in showers to climb in tub and showers. They provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Huge fluffy towels. No frig. You need your room for the elevator and to turn on the lights. This Paris location was in a great location. A couple of nearby metro stations, lots of great restaurants, several area sites. Neighborhood was fairly quiet and away from more congested touristy areas. Staff was so helpful. After 20 hours of flying and airports with very little sleep, the check in gal looked to see if a room was ready for me 3 hours early. She read my mind. The downstairs area was fun. We got a free welcome drink and most of the people at the bar were young and lively. It had a really fun atmosphere.
