The lab personnel who took the blood have an attitude problem. She was mean. First, I informed the receptionist about the three lab orders that I received from UCSF Doctor. The receptionist responded that she only saw one from my UCSF chart via online. I was going to show it to her so she can help me figure it out where can I go to get it done but she didn't give me a chance. She then referred me to the lab personnel without giving me the chance to show her the three lab orders. ZERO EMPATHY and CUSTOMER SERVICE. I then informed the lab personnel about the 3 lab orders that I received from UCSF doctor. I was going to show her that three lab orders document so she can help or advise me where to go but she cut me off immediately. She seemed irritated already and informed me with an attitude that there's only one lab order. When I showed her all the three lab orders that I received from UCSF doctor, she said there's only two lab orders. I informed her that there are three pages and it seems there are two lab test orders. Again she responded sarcastically with an attitude that the two lab tests are the same. So there's only one lab test her lab can do, and that's what she's doing right now. So obviously I was misinformed with an attitude or she doesn't know how to read lab orders. I'm a combat veteran and never worked in a medical field. How come I was able to figure out that there are three lab orders just by reading the order sheets. But the lab personnel insisted that I was incorrect and there were only two lab orders. After my appointment I was informed by UCSF that I have total of 3 lab orders. Horrible service! Rude!

I came to this Carbon Health because I was suffering from sinus pain after my trip to Hawaii. I went to an urgent care in Hawaii, and they diagnosed me with the same thing Carbon Health did, but they never sent my prescription, and they were unresponsive after I had called them and left a voicemail. The clinic is incredibly clean and open. My appointment was right before closing (I get off at 6 and it took me 30 minutes to get to this clinic) and I was still received with amazing customer service the entire time. I waited 15 minutes before being seen. Michelle came in, apologizing for the wait, and immediately got to work. She gave me warmth and empathy that I've never gotten out of another provider. When I told her that I never got my prescription in Hawaii but it was probably because of the incoming hurricane so things got messed up, she said it was still unacceptable for them not to follow up and get me my prescriptions. My new prescriptions from Michelle were ready in 45 minutes. She answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel rushed. I'm not healed yet (only been a couple of days) but I know that I'd feel very taken care of if I need to go back.

I met with NP Lu who is very patient and addressed all my issues and concerns. She took the time to make referrals to the specialists that I need and ordered all the prescriptions I need. She never rushed the appointment at all. I''ve been with Kaiser and UCSF before who only gave me 10 minutes of their time. With NP Lu, I was with her for a while 30 minutes. Yay. Side note, it appears the front desk staff are all attractive young females. Not sure if that was intentional.
