Have…read moregotten there on time the last few times I've booked with her, but she's always been late and does take a little long to set up shop. I've actually never had a problem with her work, and have found myself coming back every single time. But the punctuality was definitely starting to get old now. The reason I'm giving a 1 star review, is because she over-processed my hair to the point where I've had to cut the length off by a lot now due to HORRIBLE breakage. I had an appointment with her in the morning, and she was 20 min late. I didn't mind this time, but I did tell her we needed to finish on time because I had work later on in the day. During the processing point, she took 2 walk in haircuts back to back. I started noticing time go by, and was concerned at how long I had the foil in my hair for. Mind you, I did tell her that I was on crunch time, as she kept getting sidetracked majority of the time, checking her phone a lot + the 2 walk ins. By the time she got to my hair, I was super super behind on time. I think she probably took over 45 min to check on my hair even though I told her I'm sure my hair was ready for the foils to be taken out. I reiterated to her that if she was going to take walk ins and be late to her booked appt, to have booked me for another time where she can really devote her time and effort, and not give a half effort. My hair as the days came, really felt like spaghetti. I literally cried cause I knew I was going to have to cut it due to severe damage. Went to another stylist to cut my hair and they told me I had to cut off a lot, and that my hair was in a super fragile state that needed deep treatment. I love Cindy but due to the horrible time management and lack of efforts in our last few appointments, I sadly don't think I'll be returning back, in fear of damaging my hair again to the point of no fixing.

I looked through all of the stylists' profiles and decided on Sophie. She's young, but I loved her profile, and spent extra time researching her work on her IG page. Every cut, color, blow out, etc made me envious. I had to be a part of it! Appointment booked and confirmed with ease! Walking into to HB Collective Salon was so exciting, as all of the positive reviews had me anticipating a heavenly experience! Mission accomplished! Sophie and her colleague were the only two stylists working this day. Both acknowledged me as Sophie wrapped up with her current client. Once in Sophie's chair, I was offered a beverage and snack. I can vouch that the cocktail she offered was top shelf and hit the spot! Once we were down to business, I wanted to set us both up for success, so I shared with her my knowledge of previous color information used on my hair as a starting point. Being that I was there for a root touch up, I told her what I knew and left the rest in her hands. She made some minor changes to the formula and off we went. We had a great conversation as she worked, which she did quickly. Color was on before I knew it! As color was processing, she regularly checked on me and my hair. Then the shampoo experience happened, complete with peppermint scented neck wrap and a fabulous shampoo/scalp massage that nearly left me snoring. Back in her chair after that heavenly experience, I showed her pictures of cuts I was considering. Nothing dramatic, but her opinion was important. She made suggestions and was willing to cut a little at a time to make sure we were going in the direction I was looking for. She nailed it! When she was done styling my hair, it absolutely ROCKED! My entire experience with HB Collective Salon, and specifically Sophie, was 10/10! I cannot wait to go back!
