A few months before the wedding, we had a great trial together and she came to my apartment and we focused on exactly what I wanted for my big day. She spent several hours with me fine tuning my hair and makeup. So when the wedding day came we got right to work and knew exactly what to do. Evelyn is an amazing artist, but also a lovely person. She brought her great attitude and good vibes to the getting ready room. My sister and I were definitely belting out broadway tunes and having a blast, and Evelyn was along for the ride! I was getting so many compliments all day, and my now husband was so overcome with emotion when he saw me for the first time he immediately started crying saying how beautiful I looked. The photos below are just taken on cell phones, I cannot wait to get my photos back from our photographer!!! Definitely hire Evelyn! She's a pro! :)

Got my eyebrows, lips and lashes done here and let me tell you I'm obsessed!!! I had previously gotten my eyebrows done somewhere else and they just didn't not compliment my face at all. I told Brandi about and when I went it for my eyebrow we took almost 45 min mapping and finding my perfect shape of brow that complemented me! They we just so beautiful and done so professionally like I was so surprised at how good they came out it's been about four months now and they still look good!!! Went back and got lip blush done and I was a little nervous because my lips were naturally pink and I didn't want it to look like a permanent lipstick on but we did a cute mauve color and I kid you not I don't even need make up anymore. She made the outline of my lips more prominent and they looks so full and the color is sooo perfect!!!! Between my eyebrows and lips I just look so much better!!! Then I went back for lashes and now I'm hooked!! She is literally so CLEAN AND SO PROFESSIONAL!! I showed her the style I was looking for and she executed it while also giving a professional opinion on what would compliment my eyes more! Her studio is so cute! She has a coffee station and snacks to and we listen to crime podcast and it was such a vibe! I'm going to be a long time client here Brandi is a master at her trade and she just recently starting training in her industry for eyebrows and I'm thankful she does because any one who learns from her is going to be so amazing at their craft! I was expecting deep pore extractions, because I expressed my face was clogged and only got my forehead. The massage given during the facial was horrible. It hurt so bad and I was so sore the next day. Now my lashes. Ugh!!! My first time getting lashes and it was horrible. I was excited. I showed Brandi two pictures. I was hybrid, but not crazy, because I don't wear crazy or a lot of makeup. She gave me a light volume and D curl. My lashes were so curled and dark! They were definitely synthetic lashes, because you can tell how cheap they looked. I could tell during my appointment that there was too much glue being used, because the corner ends of my eyes she kept trying to separate. What do you know I get home and the corners are all stuck together and clumpy like a strip lash. My righ eye was red and it burned. Throughout the night my eye kept burning more and more and it was watering. In the middle of the morning I text her, because I wanted my lashes removed, but she was busy and said she can squeeze me in later around 4pm or I can give it a couple of days. I was so over them and didn't even want her touching my lashes. I had to cut them off and get the rest removed somewhere else. The other place saw how bad and stuck they were too. I told her about them and she said she would give me a complementary facial... ugh, I wanted no services done by her at all. She should had given me my money back. Added a pic of my eyes the next morning, it was all crusty in the morning and my eyes were still red 4 days later!!!

She is very prompt when replying back and was very flexible when I wanted to book her even for an early 7:30AM slot on a FRIDAY! She even played her playlist to get started to set a good vibe for our early session. Karissa started off by asking what type of skin I have and if I have more oily/dry areas than others. I loved that she did this cos she used the best products to suit my skin type. At first I didn't really know what kind of make up style I wanted so I trusted her judgement to do her thing. When she was done I was so happy with her work! I'll have to say that she is the eyebrow queen!! She super primed my face and the makeup lasted all night long (I had a 12hr day y'all).
