OK let's talk about personal chef and catering company Empress Eats. I hired this company to set up…read moreand prepare a special dinner for my anniversary. They specialize in plant based vegan meals. Naturally I was worried because not everyone can make vegan food taste great although WHOLE vegan food is pretty much green food that you find at your grocery store in the produce section. I wanted more than just salad. I know vegan food can be more but would the chef encompass that. Well yes she did. Chef Kimberly was great in organizing and understanding exactly what I wanted. Everything was amazing. I was able to go over and help create a menu with items personalized to our liking for our evening. I went with an Asian inspired menu which consisted of soba noodles, crab-less fried crab cakes. I believe they're made with shredded mushrooms and hearts of palm, absolutely delicious with her aioli . For one of the starters we had a side salad with miso sesame dressing. We ended the evening with a tropical dessert made with mango, agar beads and coconut whip. For beverages we drank heart chakra infused alkaline water and wine. Everything was 100% vegan and made from scratch down to the salad dressing and coconut whip. It was a whole food menu. Meaning we could've gotten vegan processed burgers or sauces but the chef and I decided to keep it clean and green. Empress Eats also had a staff member taking photos of our experience and their meal preparation process which they shared with us. Note it's not a photo shoot for your event , it's for them. But they did share them . Also note they're not the ones I shared here. As for covid measures the staff for Empress Eats utilized face coverings, adhered to social distance guidelines, and were very sanitary. Obviously necessary especially since they're preparing your meal. They were friendly and professional. This was definitely a great experience. We were very pleased and relaxed. We didn't have to go to a restaurant, wait in lines, nor cook or clean for dinner. All you have to do is provide a space for them to set up and cook them just relax. Thank you for such a memorable experience Chef Kimberly and the staff of Empress Eats.

Working with Diana at Table Catering was an AMAZING, 5-Star experience…read more To start, she was very responsive via text, while providing helpful recommendations on menu options that worked with our budget. When it was time for Diana to come to our 12-person bachelorette party airbnb on a Friday night, she brought the most authentic tasting Cuban food! And that's coming from the many Cuban girls we had at our event who said it was top tier in terms of flavor and quality. We also had the pleasure of having Diana come back to our airbnb Sunday for a late brunch, which was so easy and convenient compared to managing two separate vendors! She made us the most perfect, aesthetic charcuterie board - and she even went OUT OF HER WAY to bring us Cuban pastries from a local bakery that she personally loved. Once again - everything was incredible! And is that all? No! Diana EVEN allowed us to ship a gift to her personal address before the event, as it wasn't going to arrive on time. That was so helpful, kind, and a HUGE help. It just shows that Diana will truly go out of her way to make sure you have the best experience possible with no hassle or stress - just yummy food at a wonderful price! Don't book one of those giant catering companies. Work with Diana's local, small business - and have the most custom, personalized experience you could imagine. When I am in Miami again - or if I ever have friends that need catering recommendations - I would absolutely point them to Diana. No questions asked!
