I met up with her in Monroe as I was a little bit out of her route. I got this cute little pink box with a few bite sample of each of the varieties she has on hand. Each of them very delicious. I love how thick her frosting tops were and her feelings were delicious as well.. The cake part was a little dry on some of them but overall it was very pleased. My favorite was the German chocolate, peanut butter, and her carrot cake. I've never been a super big fan of white cake but given that information they were still pretty good. Giving the fact that she's driving from Arlington and delivering these precious little boxes the cost was appropriate. after tax it ended up being a little over $19 but I just gave her a $20 bill. It was a great way to showcase her food. If I ever had an item to be made I know it would be delicious for whatever event I'm hosting. She also offered for an additional $5- 3 cake pops. And if you order two boxes of cake you got cake pops for free. I'm not a big fan of cake pops so I opted just for the cake samples.

I didn't have an occasion that called for a cake, so I ordered two of her tasting boxes that were hard to resist (one for me and the other for me, too)! Each box offers a slice of 7 rotating flavors. We actually made it on our way back and so glad we did. They have a lot of unique flavors. We just got a couple double scoops so we could try more flavors! Once Baked Cookie Dough (5): My wife loves the traditional cookie dough so this piqued our interest. If you've ever had a pizookie, its sort of like that. Sort of underbaked and soft. It was delicious! Coffee Toffee Crunch (5): Can't go wrong with a coffee/toffee combo. Their slow churned process makes this really creamy and delicious! Wild Blackberry (4): Curiosity got to us on this one since wild blackberries seem to be everywhere up here. I've had some really good ones and some really questionable ones. This was good. What I'd expect. What this proved to me was their sweet cream base is amazing and can be paired with anything really. Lemon Raspberry (5): Wasn't expecting much but this one blew me away. This was my favorite of the group! Sweet and tart and fruity all at the same time with no flavor overpowering another. Very good. Cold Brew Float (4): This is really just a cup of the ice cream of your choice. Then you grab a can of their cold brew and pour it on top. I went with their mint chip. It was good. The cold brew was good. This is something I feel like I'd do at home too. (and I think I will cause we're taking some pints home!) Overall, a great stop on your way to wherever. They have pints to take home as well. Luckily we had a cooler in the car so we took home our favorite flavors. We'll be making this a stop whenever we're in the area now.

We tried the blackberry pint, which was nice and not overly sweet, although I felt like the blackberry flavour itself could have come through a bit more. The pints are also a great deal, and I would have picked some up to take home if they had dry ice available. Too bad they don't, since that would make it much easier to bring some back with you. Overall, a really nice afternoon treat, especially if you can enjoy it out on the patio. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.
