Since we moved back from out of state, we have used the pick up service every other week and shopped in store the opposite weeks. They have always had most of our products available. The prices for what we buy are really good; beating Kroger many weeks. Their prices for clothing name brands are on par to Kohls. Their prices staff, no matter the department are always helpful and YES even the young ones. My jacket fell off the back of the scooter one late night just before closing, and 3 staff searched for it after closing. The biggest drawback is the reliance on self checkout. I just love Meijer. Meijer is a local favorite, with local foods, a a great variety! I like that their seafood, produce and meat selections are incredibly fresh... sometimes so much so that they sell out so there isnt enough to go around. We frequented this location multiple times during the last holiday season, where ample people were working to help alleviate the time delay. On 2 occasions, they actually were handing out cookies to people waiting in line.... what a nice touch! This location has a great selection of dog supplies and general merchandise as well! Meijers is a local super market. I say local, because it was made in Michigan! I live here, and it's kind of sad. lol. I like it better then Wal-Mart. The staff is friendly, most of the time. You'll get a few bitches here and there. Over all everything is nice! read more

Have you ever wanted to have all the quality of the Walmart rejects bin, but at double the price? That right there is a great summary of this chain. If that didn't catch your attention, the constant random markups will - and feel free to check other stores to see if they've been marked up. I'll save you some time and tell you that they haven't, I'm sure, but if you'd like you're free to check on your own. The horrendous pricing is only the start of this store's woes, though. Usually, a good deal of the produce (And even often the meats) has some sort of major defect, ranging from mold to rot. This will last for way too long, and if you come back every few days you'll see the same rotten, moldy junk just sitting out unattended for. This might seem ridiculous, and it is, but there's a reason for it. It's because the staff is generally quite uncaring about their jobs, and I can't say I blame them. One of my close friends worked there for all of a few months, and a few people he'd met quit not long after. It's always horrendously understaffed and expect everyone to work twice the job for half the pay. You will get minimum wage, and you will be forced to pick up the slack for all the people they refuse to hire. No exceptions. And don't think that's the end of the staff complaint, oh no. The managers, regardless of your age, will believe you to be evil thieving freeloaders. They will hound you to hell and back as you travel the store. I see people getting followed all the time, and I've been followed myself. It's crazy just how they'll hover, as though they're scared their obscene prices would cause people to steal their worthless junk. There's plenty of other reviews about the horrible things you can and will get out of here, but I'll add to the pile. We rented a steam cleaner from them at one point for the surprisingly high price of ~50$ for two days. When we brought it home, we didn't even get a single day's work out of it, because the moment it turned on it started spewing water out of the flow gauge. Even despite the extremely obvious defect, it was still a fight to return the thing. In short? Don't bother. Go to Walmart or literally anywhere else. Burn your money, it'll be less frustrating and probably more valuable than shopping in this mockery of a chain. I would've given it zero stars if I had the capability to do so, but unfortunately I'll have to rate them higher than they deserve. read more

Has handed a cord to plug in my phone then they walked away for about 10-15 minutes. He came back to tell me I can scan multiple photos at once. That would have nice to know 10 minutes ago. I was doing 1 at a time. I had many to print for a funeral. Then he said I cant print all the scans I did because i did it wrong. I then said horrible service. I will never try to print photos from Meijer again he said ok. I asked his name to receive a hand out. read more

I like the traditional layout of this store as opposed to the strange newer layout of the one in Davison. Though they do tend to run out of at least one or two things I am looking for on any given shopping trip. Overall it is a pleasant experience. read more
