I waited over 5 hours for my online order to be ready and once I got to the pickup parking I waited 20 minutes for my groceries to even come out to my car. We called in before hand asking if they were ready and said we weren't in the system but I showed them my information on my order they started to get my order ready. My visits to this Meijer location have been really nice. I stopped here on my way to Milwaukee because I have to reduce my car with electricity. They've got an Electrify America station here and Tesla stations and since I'm running the Mustang the Electrify America work well for me. I stop in and grab some groceries like salads. Sometimes I stop at the meat counter where they'll sell hot chicken and fries but if you get there too late the food will be hard cuz it anything after 7:30 it's been there for a while. More and more cash registers are card only. It is telling us that we who pay cash are not wanted there. We are doing more and more shopping at Walmart, then. I suppose that I'm a Meijer frequent flyer. There pharmacy is exceptional, I started with Walgreens, but when they moved it became very difficult to coincide times. Went to two other pharmacies that were local and they really went out of their way, till they sold-deck! Then went to Meijers and they haven't let me down yet, plus the staff is very helpful and friendly The other items, well the plus is they have a lot, the negative is when you find something you really like, it might not be there when you go back, who could figure I like the produce, seems nice a fresh. Excellent All over Department/food store . Great quality of food, The cleanliness of the store, the employees are friendly and courteous and helpful. Also their prices and specials and rewards points are all great qualities that the founding owner Frederick Meijer would be proud of if he would still be alive. I was lucky enough to shop in the original Meijer in Greenville Michigan that was great ! And my kids always loved riding on Sandy and to this day I still leave pennies for another child to have the chance to ride Sandy the horse it's a tradition I think even maybe Fred Meyer had a special horse named Sandy at his farm he might have had. read more

My favorite place to shop in town. I like Mperks (the rewards system) and the store is large with multiple options of anything you might want. I personally love trying a new cheese every time I shop, which is every other weekend. The staff is nice and it's much easier to find an employee than other grocery stores I'm this area. Make sure to check out the local wine selection they have. They have a decent electric section and I like going thru their $5 movie bins. I buy amiibo figures from here on occasion and I like that they keep the boxes in good condition for collecting purposes. read more

Been shopping this store for over 20 years. But last few? Not as much. Hardly at all. Right now as I write this I'm on hold for management after the pharmacy will not even answer the phone at all. (I will be switching to someone else after today.) When the whole covid nonsense was in it's peak, yea I'd wear the stupid mask. But as that was proven to do NOTHING at all, I stopped. In fact in Michigan the supreme court ruled the mandates to be illegal yet Meijer kept insisting. Someone actually chased me down IN the store and insisted I put the stupid diaper on my face. I stopped going there at all for groceries after that. Before that... for years I'd have the meat department hold and thaw the biggest turkey they had for Thanksgiving. Until some department manager, named Art someone, said oh no... if we do it for you we would have to do it for everyone. THEY HAD BEEN DOING IT just fine, not everyone needs it. So I stopped doing that. The year he pulled that stunt I spent over 240.00 for dinner at another store who was happy to provide the service and have been going there ever since. Meijer is NOT the place to buy a lot of other things. Shoes for example. Two choices, cheap over priced garbage or really expensive garbage. Don't waste your time. Walmart has cheap garbage but at least it's actually cheap. Staff use to be pretty easy to find and always helpful. Well when I can find someone they are still helpful but lately it's harder and harder to find anyone. (In fairness, every business is having a hard time keeping help.) One last issue... years ago I bought some meijer brand canned spanish rice. What I got was a can of sauce with maybe three grains of rice. Since I bought more than one I brought them back. Now any other business would at the very least say sorry? Refund the wasted can? SOMETHING? Nope. Returned the unopened ones and got nothing for the bad one. Yea they have pretty much lost my business. Still waiting now for the store manager to locate SOMEONE in pharmacy since it usually takes them an hour or more just to put a bottle of eye drops into a bag. Need to order before I drive there. I started writing all this at 3:18 At 3:38 manager came back only to say they have 2 people working and a long line, that's why they didn't take the call. Well they STILL haven't taken my call, now I'm on their call back list.... For when? Who knows. Wanted to head there now, I think a smarter idea will be to move my prescriptions somewhere else and just stop going to Meijer all together. Well.... ha, they JUST called me back and guess what? It never fails; I wait 5 - 20 minutes at the meat counter waiting for someone to assist me. Compared to other Meijer stores, shelves are not well-stocked. The produce department is the highlight of this store for me; the selection's wider than at the other local supermarkets and the displays are appealing. While I haven't tried the full-service meat counter, the pre-pack display always has good lamb--I've gotten the semi-boneless legs and the shanks. Very recently remolded. This location, part of a larger chain, was in terrible shape. You'll get your typical Big Box experience here. I am a huge fan of Meijer. Give me Meijer over Wal-Mart for absolutely anything except fabric (which Meijer doesn't carry. And even then I go somewhere else.) But they have pretty much anything you need-food of all types and brands, cosmetics, media, furniture, clothes, etc. Plus the prices are about as cheap as they come for most things. At least average, making the convenience of having it all there just that much better. I now reside in Chicago, and I miss my Meijer dearly. I know some of them are around, but not in the City where I need them. Also, lots of the Meijers are rearranging the layout of the store. The Benton Harbor one is the only one I know of that remains in the old format still, which I love. Maybe it's because it was what I grew up on, but I prefer the Benton Harbor stores to the Kalamazoo ones, and it's purely in the layout. I've been doing my grocery shopping here faithfully for the last 15 years (I hate Walmart!). The customer service has steadily gotten worse. The other day I was in there I saw that they had the new grain free Purina food, so I figured I'd run in and get everything I needed from there...my prescriptions, oil for my car and dog food. They were rearranging the pet stuff isles and nothing was on the shelves. I asked a manager for help...well I basically was told he couldn't. That's fine...I will go to Martins to get my groceries, go to O'Reillys for my oil, petsmart for my animals and Walgreens for my prescriptions. read more

Great store. Super friendly employees. Great place to shop if it's not midday on a weekend. The one problem with this store is the restrooms. They are an absolute nightmare. If you're ever here and have to use the restroom, I recommend the back parking lot. Much cleaner and safer. read more

Meijer is so much better than Walmart they have way more than 2 lanes open during busy times. There's a greeter at the door who actually speaks to you. The store is always clean. there is always an associate around if you need assistance. I like the store I think it so much better than what it used to be and it's a million times better than Walmart. read more

My husband and I have been loyal BH Meijer shoppers for years. But Friday evening we were in there and it was awful! The floors looked dirty in the produce section. I went to use the ladies room and it was disgusting. There was trash all over the floor. The sinks were dirty. And the stall I used had no toilet paper. It was the worst I've ever seen. You should inform what ever woman who was working at the fitting rooms near the woman department around 3:30pm, not to complain about a customer not doing something that is in THEIR job description. Especially when the customers relative is standing right there. The woman told my sister to leave the clothes in the basket after she was done with them, which my sister did then happen to find some more clothes in a different section and decided to try those on. The lady was called back to open the fitting rooms, once she got there she slammed her tools on the desk and once she let my sister back in, proceeded to complain to another worker that my sister didn't take her other pants back and hang them on the rack, and that she wouldn't be able to get any work done because of herself having to do it instead. It was two pairs of pants of fricking pants. It was rude and I will not be going back to this location if that is how their employees treat their customers. Very inconsiderate. read more
