I called to schedule a mobile appointment to come to my home to fix my windshield, was told there…read morewere no available appointments for mobile service. I had no other options but go in person 30 mile drive each way. When I arrived at this location I saw 10 mobile service vans parked. I entered the lady at the front desk said,"we are overbooked then said we don't have enough mobile technicians", with an arrived. Please explain to me how I see safelite commercials that advertise "we come to you". This is not the first time, I have never been able to successfully schedule for mobile service without the same result. This is not how a successful business is run. My suggestion is to cut back on tge commercials and use that money to hire mobile service techs. I will also express my concerns with my car insurance company. The Crack repairs done on my windshield were very small but still noticeable. The tech told me that if the Crack got worse during the repair because pressure is put on the glass during the process, I would be responsible for any costs to replace the glass. Not sure how that works, if your process makes the Crack worse shouldn't safelite be responsible. If I take my car in for a repair and the mechanics make it worse I am not responsible for the additional repairs they are. Your policy makes no sense at all.

The technician who came to my house from Safelite was friendly, professional, and did a great job…read morereplacing my windshield. No complaints whatsoever about the tech himself. Likewise, the customer service agent at the Safelite location was friendly and helpful during the calibration visit. What was disappointing -- and honestly somewhat absurd -- was the overall process. Safelite came to my house to replace the windshield, but then informed me they could not calibrate my vehicle's safety system onsite. So after waiting around my house during a 5-hour appointment window for the convenience of "mobile service," I still had to drive to the Safelite location and wait again for the calibration to be completed. In total, my windshield replacement ended up costing me more than 8 hours of my time. That completely defeats the purpose of having someone come to your house in the first place. At this point, I'd love for one of Safelite's executives to sit in a room and stare at a wall for 8 hours just to fully appreciate the customer experience they created here. This feels like a textbook example of how large companies and their executives lose sight of customer needs -- designing processes that may work operationally on paper while completely ignoring the real-world inconvenience placed on the customer. If calibration is commonly required for modern vehicles, set expectations upfront or coordinate the service so customers aren't effectively forced into two separate appointments. Great technician. Friendly staff. Broken process.

I called this company to get a price quote to compare to the one I had gotten online at Safelight…read moreAuto Glass for a Factory windshield price vs an after market replacement for my Jeep. These guys started the call by being difficult, rude and completely lacking any sense of customer service. If the service for my vehicle begins with this level of rudeness, I can only imagine how much worse it would have become! Don't go here for glass work!!!

If I could issue a rating less than 1 star I would. Please make every effort to avoid this company…read more After a quick internet query I contacted Orlando Auto Glass (www.orlando-autoglass.org) to repair a broken window on my vehicle. I had contacted several other companies to ensure I was getting a fair price and although Orlando Auto Glass was not the cheapest they were able to make the repair right away. They showed up on time in a beat up van and very unprofessional looking crew. They did repair my window but then presented me with an invoice more than double the quote I received over the phone. The technician suggested that the quote I received did not include installation/labor However, I very clearly confirmed what the total cost would be prior to hiring this company. I was able to get the bill reduced but still paid roughly 50% more than the original quote. After waiting 24 hours to operate the power windows up/down as instructed I realized that they did not clean out the broken glass within the door. The shards of broken glass were now impeding the operation of the new window (ie, couldn't raise window up/down without scratching new glass). I promptly called Orlando Auto Glass (spoke to Gill) and requested their help in resolving the issue. Unfortunately, they claimed no responsibility after pleading my case and hung up on me. I tried to call back to no avail. I had to pay another company to redo their shoddy workmanship. So, if in need of auto glass repair please consider my experience as there are many better options.

Allstate recommended that we send my son's car to this shop after he was rear-ended. From the pics…read moreand video that my son shared, the damage didn't appear too severe. However, the inspector warned that the car was unsafe to drive due to the risk of carbon monoxide leaking inside. We scheduled a repair start and end date, but the deadline kept getting delayed. The shop held the car for an entire month, and when we finally got it back, the results were unacceptable. The car sounded like a lawnmower, the housing that secures the rear bumper was broken, and I can easily pull the bumper back from wheel well. There were also duct tape residue marks and visible overspray. Initially, I assumed they had installed a cheap muffler because of the horrible sound. In reality, the flange connecting the pipe to the muffler had no gasket. When I checked, I can feel the exhaust pouring out of the joint, explaining the noise and, more importantly, creating a serious risk of carbon monoxide ent the cabin. This was the very danger they warned us about initially. I only discovered this issue once my son drove the car back to NY from Fla. Had I known the shop returned the vehicle in such a hazardous condition, I would never have allowed him to drive it.

Nothing worse than an accident other than... mom getting in an accident!!…read more I often feel like older folks get taken advantage by places that work on their cars. It was such a pleasure to see the way the staff treated my mother here! What was really amazing is that they offer to call you a minimum of twice a week to give you an update while your car is going through the repairs. Wow! What fantastic service! As far is the quality of the workmanship, they have a discerning I, as though they were working on there very own personal cars. They even insisted on fixing something on my mothers car that had been done incorrectly buy the other repair company, which is pretty phenomenal. All was done in a reasonable time frame and with updates. Could not have been happier with the service and workmanship! TL/dr: Boo-boo's auto bodies worked on well!
