We agreed that they were fun and playful. My dad immediately plopped himself down on one of the cozy chairs in the front while my mom and I browsed. I admit, I don't usually read romance because I can't handle spice, but I still found a cool book published just last month, and by a Filipino author, too. I'm excited to read it and hopefully share it with my friends. Speaking of friends, I couldn't resist picking up a bookmark for my purple-loving friend and a sticker for my cat-loving friend. Other "accessories" included cards, totes, journals, charms, and Kindle cases. Overall, it's a cute place with a lot of heart, and I'm curious to come back during the holiday season.

My father authored 3 books and is a collector of SEA books. My mom's mom owned a neighborhood bookstore. So, books are literally life. In their glass case, they currently have a Bruce Lee book in their collector's section that I really want, but you know my son's gotta eat and we can eat books. The service has and consistently is highly knowledgeable, patient, and welcoming to not just us, but to all who walk in. The value is = or better than Barnes and Nobles because they have point systems and 2 x a year, the local's favorite..."The Fire Sale!" Although this is not like the Standard in New York, it is definitely top 3 of my favorite book stores of all time.

It's spring so the weather is a lot cooler and easier to cosplay. -Lots of vendors, artists, and B/C list celebrities. -Lots of panels to learn and entertain yourself at. -Lots of nearby hotel options that are reasonable priced. -Lots of great meetups. -Easy to buy a ticket.

Food trucks and vendors available throughout the event. Air conditioning not working or not high enough. It was a sweaty day. Less exhibitions and not as many booths. Kind of let down this year... Not as good as previous years. We went in Sunday. I'm not sure if vendors had already packed up or what. Value was not there. Service was fine, people were nice at the booths. Just disappointed in the convention overall. It seemed to be not as good as previous years.

While its name may lead you to believe that this store is only for purchasing music products, the 20th Century Music Co. is one of the largest Disney Store locations at Disneyland with an incredible variety of Disney themed pins available to purchase! If you are searching for a very simple Disney Pin, a Limited Edition Disney Pin or even a Disney Pin that is themed around a particular attraction or Disney Character, then the 20th Century Music Co. will have a wide assortment of choices from which to select. The store's displays are easily browsable, and I have never had difficulty finding either a new Disney Pin to add to my own personal collection or as a gift for others. Additionally, the 20th Century Music Co. is another location where you can meet fellow Disney Pin Traders and engage in pin trades! One of the things I like most of 20th Century Music Company is that it is very easy to visit! The store is located on Main Street so you can stop by as you are heading into the park, or when you are leaving the park. It makes for a quick stop before you head out of the park to pick up another souvenir. All in all, this store is worth checking out. The man working the register, was super friendly and welcoming, even stopped why he was sticking to come help us look for a certain record. Prices for records start from $2 and up! The owner was really nice and helped us find a few specific cars we were looking for. I love it when you can hear people who really love their hobbies and there was another customer in there who was super excited about a specific car that the owner had found for him - I got excited just listening to them! We left having just bought 2 cars since my kid was too overwhelmed by the choices but I can see an older kid wanting everything - beware if you are a parent that wasn't going to spend a ton. That being said, the specialty/collectors items are probably pricier but the ones we bought were under $4. Not too shabby for when you want something specific.
