The property is absolutely packed with "curber" cars, Not a BBB business anymore, No CAA discount, no itemized bill. I am suspicious of the transmission fluid change, no communication of the work done. If this was my experience with a relatively minor job ($400!), I would not recommend them.

My truck is hardly used and I don't pull a trailer or abuse this truck. On a family vacation in July 2023 my truck broke down. Over $1000.00 to get it towed back to Edmonton just to have my mechanic tell me the transmission was shot. 21000kms!!!!!!!!! And the transmission was shot????????? I realize the warranty is for 2 years or 40000kms but 21000kms is ridiculous. The mechanics I talked to agreed that a transmission should not only last 21000kms even after the 2 year warranty expires. Needless to say , i was not impressed. I called Can west to see what they could do to help me out. Well, they didn't seem to interested because ''' it's past the two year warranty''. They said they would pay for labour but I still had to pay for parts. $2600.00 later....Can West also stated that the problem was the parts in the transmission[which they replaced in 2020]. I called another transmission company and they quoted me $2600.00-$2800.00. So I'm not really sure what I saved???? Tow truck ,mechanic, new transmission, waste of time. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Bottom line : I'm out $4000.00 for a Transmission that lasted 21000kms. I would recommend you go elsewhere.

And I found some strange parts on the van's engine. They fix the problem the next day when I complained. All that was required was a line. If you decide to use their services, just make sure you they don't do unnecessary repairs or replacements. Keep an eye on them.

Works well with no complaints. Family run business where trust is everything. They work with you not against you. Gives you a fuzzy feeling. Sure the waiting room is small and the coffee maker needs replacing; but do you want transmission or being fleeced out of thousands. Ford wanted 6000.00 without a firm estimate. My bill was reasonable and affordable and I decided to keep my lovely Crown Vic. Moral of the story: don't drive the shit out of an older cop car.

This transmission was a week to 10 days past the warranty and North American Diesel Performance will do nothing, not even provide parts to fix their poor workmanship. I had them rebuild a Land Rover differential…read morefor me, they had to have special tools made to do the job properly and in the end it saved me over 4 grand after parts and labor (the dealer said they could only change the diff). Sean and Kelly were awesome to deal with. Kept me in the loop and even though it was looking like they were really busy, we're still able to get the diff back to me fairly quickly. I have 6 vehicles some as of as 1963, I wouldn't hesitate to let the guys at this shop handle my vehicles. I'll be back next time I have a driveline issue I'm sure. They know what they're doing…read more Transmission fluid check, change and filter replacement in a 2010 F150 would cost me $800 at City Ford. At this place they did it all for less than a third of that. The ironic thing is that they bought the fluid and filter from city ford. For those of you who would say do it yourself, just know that many newer vehicles have no dip stick for the tranny. It's an all inclusive proprietary system. Mr Lube can't even change tranny fluid anymore. So when you decide to get it done give these guys a ring.
