The Store is quite adorable, I like seeing all the little knick knacks on sale along with the candies, but I was surprised to deal with a rude and stressed staff member, which instantly took away from the quaint atmosphere. I asked for a couple of samples before I spent $30 or so dollars on the chocolates, but was denied samples, and felt very unfriendly vibes coming from her. I've only been to the Chambersburg store one other time, which was a quick but good experience. I was disappointed at my most recent visit to the Hagerstown store.

We also picked up some rib-eye steaks cut to order, smoked sausage, Italian sweet sausage, baby-back-ribs, goat meat (chunks), rabbit, and soft-shelled crabs (frozen). The variety is amazing, and the pricing is in line with other retail stores (e.g. grocery stores). Their personalized service goes a long way. "Larry" introduced himself to me and I most certainly will keep this place as a "destination" for fine meats, poultry, and seafood choices. BTW, they have fresh crabs on weekends.
