Shame on you Mega Glatt Mart! Rude employee we can live with, but closing BEFORE closing time when I as a customer see you inside and you know it's before the closing time. You tell me "sorry come back Sunday" when I'm here for Shabbat on time is wrong. I even called on the way to confirm you are open and that I'll be there before 3. You better fast on Yom Kippur! Shame on you!

Paprika from this store!!

NOT RECOMMENDED ! BE AWARE ! Last week I stopped by this store to buy a few groceries products. One of the products was Paprika. After cooking with the Paprika for Shabbat dinner and making food for my baby, we realized that the Paprika was full of worms inside! I went back to the store to speak with the owner and asks for compensation for all the food we throw away because of the worms inside, and he did not take any responsibility and spoke to me with disrespect. This is absolutely not the way to treat customers!

Their prices are much cheaper then the kosher section at Ralph La Jolla. Their meat and products are fresher and cleaner than other markets. They have the best tasting food and products you can't typically get outside of Israel. I just discovered this place by chance and I plan to visit every Friday before Shabbat to stock up. They have friendly and helpful staff. Location is ok, wish it was more centralized. Mega Glatt is my favorite supermarket in San Diego. I hope they expand to become a bigger store with more offerings!

I have been coming here forever. It is not cheap but the quality of everything here is fantastic…read more This is a real butcher shop. There aren't many left in San Diego. Other than its sister store, Iowa Meat Farms, Tip Top Meats in Carlsbad (yes, they have returned), and the Wise Ox, also in Carlsbad, there are hardly any real butcher shops around. But these guys know what they are doing. Try their burgers and meatloaf. They are easy to cook at home. Try their steaks. You can get a legitimately excellent steak here for a fraction of what you would pay at a steakhouse and it will be BETTER than the steakhouse version. Make sure you ask the counter guys to season it for you before they wrap it up. Try their freshly-made sandwiches. Make sure you try their beans behind the deli counter. Their pimento dip in the refrigerated area is legendary and more addictive than crack (or so I have read). They have interesting sodas, craft beers, different mustards, El Indio chips, fresh breads, and a small but very well-curated wine selection. Is there anything they do not do well here? "No," is the answer to that question. They do everything well here. They have their own parking lot but it fills up quickly. There is not much other parking in the area. In the past, I have walked several blocks away in the residential neighborhood to get to the store when there is no parking available. And it was worth it.

This what was advertised and this is what I got. GOOD, but looks nothing like it's advertised.read more

The service was quick and easy, and they were very helpful in helping me pick out what drink to have. We ordered the poached eggs and Greek yogurt, breakfast tacos, and mochanut latte. This is one unique spot and absolutely worth visiting. Came here with a group (which I'd recommend…read moreto try more things) but heads up that there aren't large tables so you'll need to move things around if you're more than 3-4 people. The vibe is wild there- from creepy McDonalds figures to a diner-like bar and decor, it'll feel like no other restaurant or bar you've been to. I had enough sodium for the rest of my week, but man was everything tasty. The Prosciutto Sandwich was so tasty and loaded up with prosciutto. The meatballs were flavorful (and the sauce was great for dipping my sandwich!). The drinks were super cool. I got the freak nasty and it might've been one of the best drinks I've had in a while. Think a cross between a Gin & Tonic and an Italian sandwich. And the pickle beer was very pickle forward! The waitress was very friendly and was able to speak to all the drinks. I'd definitely come here again... just maybe not too frequently given the high sodium levels haha.

We were traveling and being impressed by reviews, we secured a RESERVATION days prior to our arrival!!! You'd think someone in the building would've been expecting us! No excuse for not being greeted, and not even getting the bare minimum treatment expected from any random 24/7 diner, let alone a premium steakhouse. Dining experience was disappointing (or nonexistent), and the private Yelp messages from the owner were extremely telling. Can't improve if you don't take care to acknowledge and address areas for opportunity. Customer service is a glaring one. Pro: Convenient parking. Spacious booths Wish we could give an opinion of the food, but we left.

If you don't they may not have what you are looking for. First room to right you find a live band and open bar. To the left you find the steak treasure restaurant. We ordered the ribeye and my boys ordered the cowboy ribeye. This time we took our 2mo old and the lady was accommodating to our needs. The plus for us too is that it comes with a cake dessert. It was so delicious I recommend it.

Most places…read moredon't offer and a lot of people scared of undercooked pork but there's nothing else like it. If you do it with high quality pork and a place that knows what they're doing. Bone In Ribeye was amazing as well. Cooked perfectly. Horseradish sauce was good but I would prefer it a bit more spicy. They had a bone in New York which you don't see too often so would try next time. Dirty hash is def worth it. Brocollini really good as well. Fries good hut you can get that anywhere so pass for next time. Appetizers were oysters, steak tartare and Caesar salad. Past reviews say steak tartare was table side. This one was not. All were OK but will try snails next time and order an extra side. Ambiance very nice. We had table on rooftop. Service was very good but a little slow for me. Overall this is probably favorite steakhouse now and def must go when in SD

The ambiance inside was very nice and really set the mood from the night but the environment was loud so something to keep in mind. Once seated we were helped and our sever was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu! The food was very good overall. We ordered New York strips, the ceaser (on this night it wasn't table side but it typically is), broccolini, dirty hasbrowns and truffle fries! The steak was prepared perfectly and I really enjoyed the side of sauces we were able to try table side (peppercorn, horseradish, bernaise, Bordeaux) I really enjoyed the broccolini and hash rows and thought they complimented the meal perfectly! At the end of our meal I requested a Polaroid photo I had seen taken earlier in the night with another party since we were also celebrating something special and our server graciously called them over, turns out it was the manager that night and he was lovely! Very kind and helpful and the photo was the perfect touch to end our evening!!
