Well They built a new building a couple years ago, and they have about anything your looking for.Only 1 or 2 workers there are friendly or helpful. But you can find anything if you look long enough. They have an amazing amount of board games, tabletop games, and card games . Comics they have a large array of publishers besides the main ones Marvel and DC. I have been looking for blank sketch covers and every time i ask they say they are still in the warehouse; they are not going to sell themselves from the warehouse. If there is something you're looking for, you might find it here, but will have to find it yourself.

My favorite part of collecting comics is searching in the back issues for the comic on my want list. This store has plenty of comics to help me with that but they will eBay every single comic when you take them to the counter. I do not understand why some stores do this. To me as a customer, I feel used. Prices do change but take care of your inventory yourselves. It is pointless for me to ever go back there. I can save money on the gas and time and just buy it on eBay for the same price.

History: Mega Gaming & Comics used to be in business in the old Royal Park plaza a couple doors down from the dollar theater. The owners changed and the business moved to the Oaks Mall Plaza before it closed a few years ago. The original owners recently opened the store back up on Newberry Road in the same plaza as Gypsy Palace. While they were setting up shop they merged the old Gypsy Palace and Sims Music spaces together to form a larger store. I'm more gamer than comic reader, so I was excited to see another store in town open up that sold designer board games. The last place that had a similar sized collection of games was Level Up Gaming, but they've been closed for three years now. Aside from designer board games, they also sell Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, various D&D items, comics and other collectible miniature/card games. If you're into regular old super hero comics, you'll enjoy their selection. If alternative comics are your thing you might find something if you dig hard enough, but it won't be easy. The fellow that works during the day knows the comic side of the business well, and can point you towards some good selections if you tell him what you're interested in. At night the staff seems to have a little more expertise on the gaming side. This is also when they hold various gaming events, Magic being their most popular. The board game selection has continued to grow over the past year, but the prices don't offer much incentive to buy them. They are all sold at standard suggested retail price, which wouldn't be a problem if there weren't so many online competitors that can often beat their price by a third even after shipping. One way they could possibly turn a profit and sell at a lower rate would be to buy/sell used games. Oh and the place has never smelt of body odor once.

Great selection. Haven't seen a large supply of comics outside of NYC or Chicago.

I personally have to note this was the CLEANEST bathroom in all of the Coliseum of Comics I've visited in Florida. The price ranges were on par with all of the other stores in the state as well. The main reason I wanted to leave this 5 star review was for the young man working the counter in the front. Warm welcome the moment we walked in, attentive to any questions we had, and overall the KINDEST employee we have ever interacted with in the 9 locations I have been to. I unfortunately did not catch his name but he must be college age since he said he was getting ready for his midterms. We fan girled over Hunchback of Notre Dame because of my earrings and I told him to look up 1998 Notre Dame De Paris on YouTube. Having more workers with his customer service skills/ level of friendliness makes a huge difference compared to others we have been to in the past.

I didn't really have a goal in mind for what I wanted, so just going through the stacks and browsing to see if anything caught my eye was the basic plan. Lots of people lined up, but I got through the line pretty quickly. Inside, the books are arranged in a reasonable order, and the different sections are easy to identify, so finding areas that interested me was not a problem. Coming across the cooking section, I found that there were a number of smaller cookbooks that I like to term as "Wive's Club Cookbooks" which can be some of the best/most entertaining cookbooks you can come across due to the nature of the recipes that are contained in them. You never know what you are going to find in them, though recipes from the 1960's are prevalent and gelatin comes into heavy play. Good stuff there, and I stocked up on them. Overall, the Friends of the Library book sale is always a good thing to go to!

Even here Liberals have to assert their politics. The book 'Rigged' by Molly Hemingway was in a section labeled "Political Fiction". I had read the whole thing and it was well researched, with over 84 pages of sources. I challenge anyone to find just one false statement in it.
