This appears to be a chain of coffee shops in at least the Williston and Watford City area The coffee shops themselves are well decorated. The interior is fully furnished and there is trendy decor all through out the shoppe, really tying the space together The menu offers all the classic coffee drink options as well as plenty of signature drinks. There's also a variety of breakfast finger food options available for purchase, as well as snacks to choose from. They also have daily/weekly drink specials (limited offers). They are also accommodating if you want less pumps of syrup or if you want to mix flavors The staff were very helpful and efficient. You can order both inside or you can use the drive-thru. The staff might appear busy running around working on orders, but they are also very friendly and professional baristas Some tips: If you want a hot drink the biggest size you can order is a 20oz. If you go the iced option you can go up to a 32oz. I love coconut lattes, and I saw one signature drink had coconut. I asked them if they could make a simple coconut latte with half the normal pumps, and they hooked it up Cheers!! read more

I was excited to see meg a latte come to town. To say i have been disappointed is accurate. Every time i order the same coffee, it comes drastically different. I also want to mention that while the extended food menu is great, i am saddened to see that the baked goods are not homemade and a tad expensive compared to market press. I will keep trying, but so far have not had a good coffee. read more

Why so slow? That's my first thought. Comparatively to coffee shops in a city, they aren't even that busy (this comes down to perspective though). Honestly, it's okay. It's a small town local coffee business so I think it lives up to that. If you like strong coffee definitely add a shot to your lattes cause they like their coffee SWEET. read more

Always a pleasure to come to Meg-A-Latte for coffee as well as other snacks. For a coffee shop with such a large selection of drinks, they do them all very well. Service is top-notch and selections are always fresh. Staff is always friendly, service is quick and most importantly, the place is always clean. This is a local chain in the Bakken oilfield and my experience at the other Williston location and in Watford City is the same. I am a Meg-A-Latte super fan! :) read more

Coffee is bland unfortunately :( Breakfast sandwich is lazy with a huge blob of yellow cheese and no napkin. They are nice, i will leave this review in the hopes they get better. read more

More like Wait-a-lot-eh. The terrible baristas make drinks in whatever order they feel like, usually giving preference to the drive through. If someone behind you in line orders a more convenient drink you'll be waiting awhile. I also didn't see any consideration made to avoid cross contamination of dairy and non-dairy products. Okay..there's no big name coffee shop in town with the mermaid logo..you know the one. This place is a popular hip coffee shop for those who know about it. The interior is very nicely adorned with the owners spouses artwork. That's what caught my eye soon as I walked through the door. I ordered a large Vanilla Frappaccino based on the price they have on there menu which was $4 and change. It came to over $5 plus so I asked why it was more because the flavor add was included in the price so it couldn't have been that. The girl told me they had changed the prices on their menu but hadn't changed the menu yet. I think that was worthy of giving her the *bitter beer face*. That kind of ticked me off a bit because I have my limits on what I'll spend for a coffee drink. She could have made a good faith gesture and honored the price on the menu. Better yet, how's about creating a new menu on the computer, printing it out and posting it for everyone instead of falsely advertising your beverages for less but charging more KNOWINGLY. Is that even legal? People need to look at their receipts and ask questions when something is off. The drink itself was good as was the inside of this establishment. Since I'm new here, this experience soured my opinion of how they operate which means to me aka shady business practice. I hope the owner and workers read this and make the appropriate changes. If not, they should be reported to the BBB..and that means Better Business Bureau for those who don't know important acronyms in this field of work. read more

I'm giving one star for service (which was good, the service would've been 3-4). However, the smoothie I ordered garnered negative stars. I'm unsure of how a strawberry smoothie came out pinkish-brown and tasting of peanut butter, but it did. I tried and tried to drink it, but wound up throwing it away. read more

I came here bc i normally go to deja brew but they were closed i come through the drive through first of all i can just tell the person taking my order is not having a good day i wasn't trying to make anything worse or anything i ordered i pull up to the window hand her my card and pay for my drinks she hands me my drinks and says have a great day i go uh "can i have my card" and she hands it to me no apology or anything and then says have a great day again and i go um "you forgot my toast to" she slams the window closed and goes and gets someone else to give me my toast bc apparently me asking for the my card and food i payed for is soooo stress fill the other lady opens the window with an attitude ofc lol bc what else would you expect in williston? needless to say i'm never cheating on these small owned business coffee huts ever ever again if your reading this to decide if you should go to mega latte save yourself the trouble and just go to deja brew they are so friendly there. read more

I walked in this morning for a coffee, ordered paid and then realized there was a new barista being trained. I waited almost 15 min for my order. That is way too long to wait. A suggestion: Don't train new hires in the morning rush. The drink is good, so your training is apparently good, just poorly timed. read more

I was fairly pleased with the whole experience. The barista was pleasant, my 'lump of coal latte' was sweet and festive, and the seating was comfortable with a capital C. Recommended for out of Towners since it is equal parts hipster and frontier by interior design. read more

Always come in when my friends want to go but honestly always disappointed.nothing ever taste right. But maybe that's because the dont have the option on do you want the real drink or should I substitute it with the cheaper item? Oh? Your drink isnt full? Let's either drown it in ice or club soda. I'm going to go support the real locals because of the beef meg has with them. I would be mad too if you tried to get a place shut down for serving scones and muffins too. What's next? My favorite coffee spot in Williston. Their coffee is so good and the Mac and cheese is scrumptious. My only complaint is the price difference to get oatmilk instead of regular milk. But clearly it doesn't bother me too much because I'm there at least once a week. All the staff is always so nice! read more

45 minute wait. yes, it is Sunday morning but there were 5 cars ahead of me. no where near as long of a line that I have been before here. when I got to the window I was asked what I ordered...I had to repeat the whole order. then she proceeded to give me the wrong order! one part of my order was a Frappe. when she finally handed me the right one it was no longer frozen!?! I look at it and said - this is not really a frappe anymore! she just giggled and said what can I say, we are busy. Bad coffee - nice enough atmosphere. If you want some place to go to work on your laptop, or catch up with friends...this is an ok place for that. If you are looking for good espresso drinks or even good drip coffee - Meh...it's not worth the extremely high prices they are charging. Bad, Bad, BAD Mocha :( If they changed the coffee to a higher quality, sent their barista's off for proper training, and taught the fundamental Customer Services practices...then I see potential to be a real coffee shop! read more

First, the interior is really nice. It has atmosphere and is very comfortable. Another big thing is it's clean. A lot of places up here have that dirty/dusty feel to them, when you walk in here it's like walking into somewhere that doesn't quite belong in Williston (in a good way). I've gone there for both smoothies and coffee. I'm not a big coffee drinker, I maybe drink it 3-4 times a year. The first time I went I got one of their smoothie's and it was DELICIOUS! My daughter also bought one of their cookies which was also very good. The second time I went with my husband, he got a iced caramel mocha and I got a german chocolate frappe (I think that is what it was called). My drink was pretty good, but his drink was even better. Friendly and knowledgeable baristas with a great selection of drinks. The place has the perfect atmosphere to enhance creative thinking, and also features some unique locally made art work. Also they have delicious cold brewed coffee -not iced hot coffee (its different)- that I highly recommend. It's the best. When I first moved here I really liked this coffee house. Very aesthetically pleasing and seemed more modern than some other places in town. I get coffee literally everyday and when I find my coffee place I'll be loyal. At first nothing seemed to bad besides most of the girls seeming miserable and doing the bare minimum when it comes to friendly service, mind you, they're still going to want a tip. Which you give as you're getting bad service and before you even know if your drink is good? Anyways though my biggest issue is the wait. Literally in the last month I have screenshotted the time I pull up just to make sure I'm not crazy. I have waited OVER 30 mins every single time for a single cup of coffee. McDonalds is quicker than this place. When I worked as a barista if I would've taken that long or sounded so miserable while working I would've been fired after a week but here it just seems to be to be the way they operate. read more
