It's my first visit, since my friend told me about the place. Their service was friendly, but slow. I went on a weekday not during rush hours. However, I had to wait more than twenty minutes for my two drinks and two desserts take out order. The grass jelly drink was superb, but wish it were a bit more sweet. The winter melon tea was delicious. The red bean soup and the purple rice soup with taro mochi and sweet potato taro ball were good. Decent portion for the price. It's inaccurate that yelp says this place is still closed. It's open. I think they are actually soft opening. We ordered some food and some drinks. Overall, food was tasty. Teas were ok. Wait time was around 15 mins which is not too bad considering they are soft opening. I believe this place has great potential. Will update review after some more visits. I have been a big Meet Fresh fan since it opened. I have probably been at least 50 times (yikes!). The last few times I have gone, the quality seems to have really declined. The shaved ice has some huge chunks in it, doesnt seem as flaky as before, making it hard to eat. The quality/flavor of the toppings also seems to be poorer and the size of the portions seems smaller (even though it was huge before!). The service has never been friendly, I think I have gotten a smile from staff 10% of the times I have gone. Most of the time I feel like I am bothering the staff when I order. I no longer feel addicted to coming here and that is probably a good thing! read more

I recently went to this location mainly bc it was one of the only cafes that stay open later. I got the strawberry shaved ice. Not only was the ice incredibly not palatable, but the syrup was too sweet and not satisfying. On top of a mediocre dessert there were fruit flies flying around my dessert. My friend and I caught at least 4 fruit flies but had to throw the dessert away because more fruit flies were circling the dessert. I notified one of the employees about the fruit flies and she merely said sorry with no follow up action. read more

Meet Fresh is my favorite Taiwanese dessert place! The things are So authentic and not too sweet.

Went here with family (we were a group of 6). We arrived around 8:30, placed our order around 9, and our 6 drinks and two icy bowls were ready 50 minutes later. That was fine, we get it, it was a weekend they were busy and we placed a large order. However what was not fine was that the ice in the icy bowls were completely melted so we had water with pieces of red bean and taro floating around. On top of that, my drink was missing the taro paste. I found out after I took a sip so I took it back to the counter to tell them, and the lady working said that she would just add the taro into my drink. She touched my straw (that I had put my mouth on) to open the drink and then proceeded to put in the taro paste. I didn't see her change her gloves, and she touched everything after removing my lid. This would be concerning even if we weren't in the middle of a global pandemic. The hygiene is concerning. I expected her to maybe give me the missing part of my drink on the side, or to remake it. read more

They offer ingredients that you cannot find anywhere else, like fresh sweet potato, fresh taro, barley, tofu, sesame mochi. I love the ordering system in which you are given a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready so that you can sit down and wait while the food is being prepared. The food comes out quickly. Whenever I go to Taiwan I always go to Meet Fresh so I was very happy they opened one here. I got my usual Icy Taro Ball #1. I asked to substitute mini taro balls in place of the regular taro balls and they said no problem. I love when stores make it easy to substitute things without it being a hassle. As for the taste, it tasted exactly like how it tastes in Taiwan. The only thing I don't like is how expensive it is! I think if it was $1-2 cheaper I would go back more often. read more

Worse ever! The staff was very rude and didn't even greet us when we walked in. I got the strawberry shaved ice... the "shaved ice" was a block of ice, strawberries tasted very old and the syrup was overwhelming I love shaved ice and tried many places in the past, and never had an ice cream scoop as part of the dessert... usually sweet condensed milk and fresh fruit. The deserts themselves are actually pretty good. The tables are usually sticky and dirty. The menu is not comprehensive at all. For the iced grass jelly, the menu only shows a very small picture and labels them by number. It is impossible to tell what toppings are on which number. The second time I came here we waited close to 30 minutes after we ordered only to be told that they were out of plates for my shaved ice order. Thus they asked if they could make it in a to-go dish, meaning they hadn't even started making it. Likewise my wife ordered a hot red bean dessert and it came out as a cold one. I like their milk tea a lot is the best so far in Seattle and Bellevue, and I have been the shop more than 10 times already. Food and Service are good, however, the space design in the shop is a mess. 1. The cashier is not function good when lots customers who are trying to order, the line space is so small and so messy. 2. The space design for sitting area "OMG", I understand they try to fit as much ppl as they can for business purpose. But, come on customers are all have difficulty to pass throw when they are trying to get their orders from the front desk. Service subpar. During COVID, you assume they'd be glad you're there for business. Opened unprepared. Computer didn't work. Wouldn't help the older gentleman before us to order because they insisted he needed to use the machine, which I struggled with also because it's buggy (oh... the app also didn't work!) Then lost track of our order. Manager came in the end when I had to check whether my order was correct and he said if you find something is wrong just come back. Ummm... you mean drive back another 30 mins? No thanks. Then, without apologies offered, just said he'll process our refund, it'll just take a minute. I'm here to support your business so I don't want free food. I just want your staff, including the manager, know what good customer service means. The lady there was very helpful and polite...
