Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice
Jia W.

Got the mochi shaved ice to share between 3 people and it was a great portion size. It was flavorful on top, but the bottom got a bit bland as we kept digging in. I do wish it came with more toppings, and the ice wasn't quite as finely shaved or fluffy as Korean bingsu, but still not bad overall. I'd come back for their other items since I'm a huge fan of their taro balls and jelly.

Tofu Pudding with Taro and Grass Jelly with Taro Balls
Arlene S.

I've been craving traditional Asian desserts. I came by on a Friday night. The place was packed with large groups but we were still able to find a table toward the back of the restaurant. I ordered the grass jelly with taro balls and the tofu pudding with taro chunks. The grass jelly was good and not overly sweet, which I like. The taro balls had a great chewy texture. The tofu pudding was a bit lacking in flavor, but the taro chunks were a great addition and helped balance the dish overall.

Food was good. My favorite would have to be the Shaved Ice. We have tried a bunch of them from hot, cold, waffle to drinks. All were equally good. But we all have our faves and that mine! Place is pretty big and they have the logo when u walk in so you can take some selfie with it. Lots of choices. Service was fast. Must try!

I absolutely love this place! They have both HOT and COLD Taiwanese desserts and treats. Their shaved ice and grass jelly desserts are a must-try with so many different options. There are plenty of seats inside with a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the sweet treats. Service is friendly and efficient and there is plenty of parking, too. Highly recommend!!

Ripped silica gel packet in my dessert

Be careful when you eat here. Found a ripped silica gel packet in my dessert, with the beads spilled into the food. Unsanitary and disorganized.

Love MeetFresh! I usually get the shaved ice to share but was feeling a bit full from a prior meal, so my parter and I opted for an icy grass jelly dessert. This was the perfect serving for two, already full people! Ordering is mostly done through self-serve kiosks which I don't mind, and our order came fairly quickly! Will absolutely be coming back for shaved ice once it warms up!

Clean and open interior

I came in to grab some dessert. You can order at the kiosk, online or in person. The employees there were really friendly and helpful. The interior is very clean, modern, and has cute decor. Check out their monthly specials for great deals. I got two desserts for $16.99. I packed one to go for later. The desserts taste light on sugar, which is common in Asian desserts. I felt like it tasted okay for my red bean dessert. It felt like it tasted a little watered down. Overall, it wasn't bad for the special. I would not want to pay full price of the individual desserts.

In the mood for shaved ice but didn't feel like driving to Snow Village or Sulbim. First of all the shaved ice was coarse and didn't have a good texture. Furthermore it lacked the flavor. Also there were a few hand written notes asking people to bus their own table. That is fine but the way it was written and posted on the wall just gave me a bad vibe. This place has a good potential but would require some serious makeover.

What a great place to get Taiwanese desserts! Clean open space with friendly service! Lots of options to pick from too. My favorite was their bubble waffle but their taro pasta and balls are so unique and refreshing. I highly recommend sharing! I'd come back!

Strawberry shaved ice

So disappointed. The shaved ices were bad, plain taste The milk tea was plain as well. The waffle was not as crispy as Happy Lemon. It's not worth $56

Tofu Pudding Create Your Own (sesame balls, Ube balls, and red bean)

Pretty big dessert place, there were only a few other parties when I went. My sisters and I ended up sharing a tofu pudding and a side of grass jelly. We opted for dining in but ended up getting a takeout container.. ofc it was not too sweet so it was good

Hot red bean with peanuts and taro - 2/5 not too sweet and good red bean flavor. wish there was more flavors in this as it got boring a bit quickly and the red bean took over most of the other topping tastes. the taro ball texture though was pretty great with the right amount of chew to softness!

Lots of parking available and spacious seating. The menu is huge! You can use a kiosk or staff can also take orders.

My child has dairy, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds allergy. I'd like to see the ingredients. I see that he can probably eat many of your desserts, except of course for the ones with dairy. Are there any desserts with sunflower or sesame seeds?

The Sesame Mochi, Sesame Rice Ball contains sesame. And for other allergy notice & guidance we will post on our album today as soon as possible. Feel free to drop a line if… Read more

What on the menu is gluten free? None of the pictures or anything seems to indicate some things being gluten free versus others.

I think most are. All of the toppings are either a type of grass jelly or type of sugary bean. And base is shaved ice with sugar syrup. I am pretty sure Mochi toppings are gluten free because they are typically made with glutenous rice (aka sweet… Read more

Are there any vegan options? Or is everything gelatin / animal based/ dairy?

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing it's very limited. There's tofu dessert that is soy based. Lots of toppings have inherent gelatin to form the shape including things like taro balls, grass jelly (or jelly of any type). There's a red bean… Read more

- perfect for milk tea addicts -…read more This is one of my husband's fav places along with "don't yell at me", "coco" and "happy lemon". They have fancy drinks here, but the fanciness is reflected on the price (yeah they are more pricy, unfortunately). My husband's go to is the milk tea with taro paste and tofu flower, and sometimes the toppings are out of stock and he will be sad. The mochi here is also delicious, but it costs more than $1. I ordered the matcha creme brulee for the first time as it's popular, and while it's good I don't really understand why it's called creme brulee since... There is no brunt cream lol! There is no place to enjoy your drink here since they are essentially sharing the spot with Nan noodles. It's similar to the setup of YGF matalang and lucky cube, which they encourage you to eat and drink at the same time. Ps. If you can read Chinese, you can use one of the Chinese to-go apps as they frequently offer coupons for this place.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #99…read more Moge Tee is a chain from Mainland China that also has a couple of locations in Michigan which I've visited and mostly enjoyed. They have a bit higher quality tea than most boba shops that came before them, but have since been overshadowed. This particular location is inside the Nan Noodle restaurant, making it a convenient place to order from while slurping on noodles. They have a kiosk for ordering near the front door. When we visited, there was only one worker who was cranking out a huge order of drinks (I'm talking 20+ drinks). Unfortunately we were behind that large order so it took over 30 minutes before our drink was ready. Dahongpao Bubble Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sugar, 50% Ice ($7) - The taste of the milk tea first starts out very nutty, a bit roasty, and quite sweet (distinct and separate from the sweetener). It then descends into something that's almost a little stale and tastes mildly of rancid fat. I feel like there's a chance that the creamer they used in the drink is old and/or on the cusp of going bad. It's not a super strong taste, but it's there, giving the drink an unpleasant aftertaste. The boba is very good however. Golden pearls, smaller than average boba with great chew and bounce. They are soaked for a while in sugar solution, giving them a sweet taste that penetrates the top layer of the boba. Due to the soak, some of the boba sticks together into larger balls, and the exteriors have a softer velvety layer rather than being smooth. Milk Tea Rating: 1/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 I have to assume that their drinks don't normally taste rancid... Maybe something was just wrong with my taste buds that day? Then again, given my disappointment, I visited another boba shop right after and that one tasted fine. Note: My rating of 3 is because the boba and milk tea have equal weighting. The boba is very good while the milk tea is terrible due entirely to the rancid/stale aftertaste. Bathrooms - Two larger ones, shared with Nan Noodles.

You can't really expect a Michelin star meal here…read more That said, when there is a line it goes pretty quick when it's mostly regulars, and only gets bottlenecked by people who have never bubbled their tea or bubbled their waffles before and don't know how to order. Or who haven't used a touchpad POS I guess - which is surprising but it happens. ...hell I work in tech and only this month used my phone to pay for a thing at a POS but I digress. Never was a priority. I've ordered there consistently. I usually get the same thing. I'm more of a no boba milk tea person. Service is consistent. Prices are decent. I guess the low reviews are people who are expecting Din Tai Fung levels from a small place in the mall? Then again I don't boba I only milk tea so what do I know. People are super picky about their balls and how they want their balls to taste. I say set your expectations on your balls and stop being a ball buster. Good grief people have gotten so artisinal about their boba balls it's like they expect each one to be flow in individually by a drone or hand selected and blessed by the Pope. Or do like I do and go for the milk tea and not worry about it. Can't go wrong with milk tea. Or maybe the low reviews are people who are over complicating their orders and expect Frank Lloyd Wright and Gordon Ramsey both to be back there assembling their bevy for $7. For what it is, and for the price, I have no complaints.

I thought I'd give this chain a try and I was very disappointed. Parking: mall garage, free. Atmosphere: no seating, long lines for ordering, waiting for your order to be completed is longer than waiting in the line (I presume it is because they fill mobile orders at the same time). Menu: posted on the back wall above the register, also a smaller menu at the beginning of the ribbon divider. Service: order and pay at the front, wait for your order to be announced, grab your own straw. Mango Sago Smoothie: I requested 30% sweetness and it was still very sweet but that wasn't the worst part--it wasn't until I reach the bottom of the cup that I saw the sago was nothing but two large coagulated clumps. It was clearly poorly made and not fresh. The mango tasted mediocre and was nothing to write home about. The boba was also very unevenly cooked and was mushy on the outside and rubbery/hard inside. I noticed this on the first sip and wasn't going to stand back in the 10 minute queue to get it remade. I'm all for bubble tea joints and I honestly thought the drinks would be better quality for a chain so large that I hear about.

Staff were accommodating of my reusable cup and were, after some initial hesitation, able to serve my drink in my glass tumbler instead of the plastic cup. Thanks for supporting sustainability even while it was super busy today! The Triple Supreme Matcha Latte was really good, consisting of a strong matcha latte with matcha mochi and matcha jelly. The mochi is very soft and the jelly adds a nice texture to the drink.
