From past events food used to be served on the top but it became very messy and can damage the hardwood floors which is why they only allow food to be served in the basement. I cant really complain about the owners like the previous reviewer did as I am not the one that rented the ballroom. Overall it is a pretty nice place to rent out for events especially when you have a really big turn out, unless you experience the same rudeness the last reviewer had with the owners, it doesnt hurt to check it out and see what it is all about.

Each district in Stanislaus County (except for Modesto) selected two recipients to receive this honor. Representatives from congressmen and senators' offices were present to congratulate each awardee. I entered the courtyard complete with garden lights prior to entering the building. After presenting my ticket, I entered the main room. Again, wow. The room was huge and decorated in a very elegant manner. A map of tables was located so I knew where to find my colleagues. Dinner was a buffet of chicken marsala, beef, green beans, mashed potatoes (so creamy and yummy), mixed greens with a raspberry vinaigrette and bread. Everything was very tasty. For dessert we had our choice of mango cheesecake, chocolate mousse torte or key lime pie. Decisions decisions! The staff did an excellent job of making sure the food was plentiful, keeping water glasses filled and clearing plates. The owner, Jaime and the management team assisted us every step of the way to make sure the event was planned to perfection.
