This place was fabulous. I purchased a stereo for my husband's truck from Best Buy. I originally purchased the Geek Squad install package and was being nickeled and dimed to death by them. We heard from a family member about Meece's and checked them out. Saturday before Christmas they were able to do the install right there and then and the cost was half of what Best Buy was going to charge. They even went way above and beyond and ran diagnostics on the truck to figure out why one of the lights on the dash was light up. Totally unrelated to the stereo. Amazing service. If you even think about bringing your car somewhere else, read this first........ I had the worst thing could happen, happen while getting car audio installed at Meece Car Audio and when they had the opportunity to say "Beats me Bro" Jeff and his staff instead went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make me happy. I had never been here before, I'm actually new to the area so I Yelped and these guys had the best reviews and hell, they was close. So I brought my newly purchased Kia Soul and the myriad of electronics I wanted installed (nav Head unit, 3 cameras, a sub/amp,... alarm, and siriusxm from them) and dropped it off. I returned at the agreed time to some bad news..... During the installation, something happened where my lights, car locks, and turn signals were going crazzzzy. Something had failed in my car and no immediate sign to what it is...So what am I going to do now? I had to go to work the next morning and rehearsal the next night. Well before I had the chance to worry, Jeff was on the phone with a rent a car and after a little while I was driving home with a promise he will get to the bottom of it. Remember, he didn't exactly know if it was his guys or just a crappy part all he knew it was on his watch and was clearly just as upset about it as I was. Jeff calls me the next day. Bad news is confirmed. The "electronic brain" IPM I believe it's called did not like having an aftermarket alarm installed died, had to order a new one (he didn't want to chance fixing the old one) and it will take two days. Now, I don't think I'm an unreasonable person but I'm not a push over either. He was completely transparent and expressed I was his number one concern and will keep me updated....im thinking I had a car, he doesn't deliver for friggen FEDEX or build for Kia so I believed what he said and I was cool. Next day. He said two days, so I didn't expect a call. 6pm he calls as he's Closing up to let me know he called Kia to make sure my part was sent and reassured me as soon as the part was in his hands it will be in my car. Super cool, know why? I was worrying! I haven't even made a payment yet on it and it was on my mind. Super professional and made me feel better. Next afternoon. VM that my car is ready. I'm pumped. I picked it up and they explained everything they did and how to use it. They did a great job. 5 Stars all the way. So to sum this whole thing up, they deserved this review and all the rest of their good reviews. I wish other businesses would adopt these guys work ethic. The pricing is very reasonable and you know you are getting top quality components installed in your vehicle (they know their products well and carry the best!). I came in to upgrade my headunit and to install an amp and sub. as the kicker speakers I installed in my car didn't have enough power. They came up with a plan as to what will work in my car. So I had bought an Double Din car stereo for my car because the stock stereo just wasn't cutting it. I wanted to install it myself but I kept getting images in my head of crossing wires and my car blowing up, or putting the wrong wires in the wrong places and blowing out my speakers or frying my circuits and things like that, so I talked myself out of it haha. I ended up looking up car installation places in the AV, I wanted to go to somewhere good, with a good reputation that did good work. Although Meece Audio only had two reviews before me, I decided to go with them. The first thing I thought of when I chose them was 'Division street, ugh' lol, but I was hoping for the best. It was a little hard to find them at first, once you get on their street from division, you have to go all the way down. I was a little more relieved when I arrived because the garage was big, looked clean and not run down, and everything inside was very well organized. The owner came out and started talking to me, and asked me questions like what I wanted to do and things like that. I told him and we walked into his office. There's a bunch of awards and certificates in there for 'best car audio' and things like that. Very nice and very impressive. I guess the stereo I had bought online was a little lower end than the ones he had, which were all super cool and I REALLY wish I had the money for them. Especially the ones with GPS and Cameras and DVD players and things like that. But I was on a budget, and I wouldn't be using most of that stuff anyway. Anyway I ended up just going with the stereo that I already had, and just had them install it. Armando, the guy who actually installed my stereo, did a great job, and did it very quick, it only took him like 30-40 minutes and I thought my system sounded great! I was very happy. And it only cost me $45, and that included the adaptor cable they had to add for my car. I was glad too, I was expecting to pay a little more to be honest haha But the owner was very knowledgeable about systems, very helpful, and Armando did a great job. My stereo is still working great (I've only had it for like 2 months, but still). I'm glad I went with this place. Like I said, the location had me a little worried but I bet it's a lot more professional than the other places. I would totally recommend this place if you're looking to impress with some killer audio and deafening sound haha And I'll totally be coming back whenever I need an upgrade :) read more

Had my Kenwood installed yesterday and I love it! They dont take long to install and they inform you about your product before you leave and are very kind. They also take cash cause I have a debit card and it didnt read when they swiped so they allowed me to get cash from the atm! So make sure your all set before you get a install lol but other than that my experience was great! read more

I was having some trouble with the DIY installation of my car stereo and needed some expert help. I called Meece and was told to bring in my car at 10:30AM. When I arrived, I was immediately met by a technician who quickly diagnosed the issue and implemented a simple fix. I was only charged for the part that was added. As another member stated, I would give them 10 stars if I could. I'm sure they could have spent a long time diagnosing the issue and charging me an arm and a leg.
