As a new patient, I had to fill out several forms but it went very quickly since I filled everything out on their ipad. The office is nice and spacious and the staff is friendly. They start by taking your vitals in a little side room, which is actually open to the public and can be seen from the waiting area, which I thought was a little weird. It's not like I was undressed or anything at that point, but just the fact that people can watch you stand on the scale and have your blood pressure taken feels like it should be more private. After that I was taken to an exam room to wait but was told they were waiting for another room to open up for the doctor to see me. I waited for about 15 minutes and then they moved me to the exam room right next door, which apparently was my "official" exam room. I then waited again, and finally the doctor came. To be fair, she apologized for making me wait and said that she was exceptionally busy that day. My overall impression of Dr. Quy is that she knows her stuff and listens well, despite being in a hurry. I had some knee pain and she did a quick physical exam and quickly came to the same conclusion as what I had suspected. She seemed very practical, knowledgeable and was not dismissive as some doctors can be. After my appointment I set up my online patient portal, which was a very easy and straightforward process.

WTF.! My husband has dementia and the doctor wouldn't listen to us! he also is a cancer survivor and they never asked any questions relating to his colon cancer. Then they said they're gonna take blood, but they did not tell us when we would get the results. The whole purpose of this particular appointment was to a get A. Get a physical B. Get the results of the CT scan C. Address the constant urination problem, He walked out the door before we could finish any of these issues and never came back. I need to have two doctors signature in order to use my long-term care for my husband, but this doctor just walked out the door and didn't do anything about it‍ my husband is 76 and they never asked him any questions. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone! I will be looking for a new doctor as soon as possible! Betty Kelly

I'm very disappointed with my experience with the staff today…read more I called because I wanted to make an appointment for my daughter and briefly explained her symptoms and concerns. I was only trying to give the staff member enough information to understand why I was calling. Instead, she told me that I was talking too much and wasting her time, and that next time I shouldn't talk so much. I was honestly shocked and very upset by the way she spoke to me. In my past experiences with doctor's offices, staff usually ask what the problem is and why I need an appointment, so I thought I was doing the right thing. The doctor may be good, but the way this staff member treated me was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable.

In all honesty, I really didn't think picking my PCP was important, I just needed to have someone assigned. I literally chose him for the fact he was close to my house. Wow, I got lucky! We went through my entire medical history and my current health and not once did he rush through the appointment - we spent around 50 minutes together, if not more. It is an understatement to say that Dr. Barrett completely understands how to care for a patient in every aspect of their health. He is compassionate, thorough, and so so smart. I am so grateful that I chose Dr. Barrett so carelessly because he is so much more than a Primary Care Physician. I look forward to being cared for by him and truly feel blessed that I landed in his lap. Thank you, Dr. Barrett!
