    The First Loop!
    Rachel Macie H.

Medusa took off all of her snake heads attached them together to make one long track of twists, turns, loops, and screams! The train itself is one of those in which your pretty much just on the seat not much around you other than your friends and the strap that's holding you in place! Once the floor in the station drops out and the train starts leaving the station you head up that radical lift hill towards your first part of the thrilling ride a little dip in the top of the hill and then you head down to the ground in search of that radical loop right in front of you! After a few more twists of what felt like a really fun smooth coaster with a good amount of spirals and surprises we headed back to the station ready for our next ride on what was just good again! Medusa feels like it was put in a very small area but it was put together real tight which made for a killer ride tell the end. On the ride looking to the ground I could see some of the lines painted for the parking spaces that Medusa had been built over this totally reminded me of another one of my favorite coasters Scream as they both are similar with train style and having both been built on what once was a parking lot. The ride operators wouldn't let anyone leave anything off the ride so make sure you get one of the lockers before the line entrance or leave it with your friend who isn't riding and should be. Medusa is an awesome ride and definitely one of the best ones in the park don't let the giraffe take all your attention away and forget to ride on Medusa as it's definitely a kid friendly coaster too!

I've been on Medusa a ton of times. The ride is like riding on a slithering snake, twisting and turning. Starting with a mega drop and a back flip the ride keeps speed throughout the journey. It is one of my favorite rides that I've ever been on because it makes me feel like I'm flying around on a giant Medusa Head, snaking around. And at the end she turns you to stone in a picture. Dope ride!

A solid roller coaster here at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, and it has aged pretty well over the years.

Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster is World's First Dueling Looping Coaster basically it's two big loops attached to each other with a big snake like train crawling along it's twisty path of crazy face to face looping fun this is also the first kind of this type of coaster ever built a prototype if you say so of the classic looping ride that's just one continuous loop. Your ride starts off rocking back and forth before you start taking in the total looping head to head fun once you get going you are going around in the two big circles a few times then it's all said and done! The coaster it self is a pretty cool design the way it is just massive motion going in one direction with so much force it does give a little bit of a rough ride but still fun in its own loud way as in this coaster does create quite a bit of noise wile it is in motion. Overall this is a fun awesome new addition to the park and I definitely did enjoy the few rides I took with Harley Quinn!

The restraints are uncomfortable as there is a lot of head banging and both times they staple you in. It is very loud as well. I would say skip this and if you like those types of rides go on dive devil. But if you are curious go on a walk on. Kong and boomerang are still the worst rides.

Superman is the other one and I personally think that one is better than The Flash, but that does not mean The Flash has no presence in Discovery Kingdom here. The coaster itself looks pretty small as there isn't a lot of track, but that's mainly because it's a launch coaster that goes back and forth. It reminded me a lot like the now defunct Deja Vu in some ways. Outside the loading dock, there are two ways you can go -- one in an ultra-twisted inline curve, and the other that goes straight up 90 degrees. So you're kinda all over the place for this ride, but you're definitely in for a treat. With maximum speeds of 60 mph and going as high as 150 ft, the ride may seem like it's not much but there's truly a lot to offer. There's a lot of surprises while riding this out, so make sure to check this ride out when you're at the park !

The launch is great and I like the custom slanted twisted spike so everyone gets to go upside down which Six Flags Great America's did not have. I like Steel Venom at Valleyfair more because it has the holding brakes on the vertical back-spike. So this ride I would recommend for kids under the age of 17 would enjoy. But people over the age of 39 probably wouldn't enjoy it because there are some rough patches.
