I would say this is a good intro roller coaster as it has everything a roller coaster should have -- drops, loops, inversions and speed, but it's also not a super fast roller coaster and it doesn't go so high, so anyone trying to "try out" roller coasters for the first time will be glad to take this on. I personally am not a fan of looping roller coasters, aka why this one gets a three -- but that doesn't mean this roller coaster is bad in any way. The roller coaster boasts of a 120-foot vertical loop which is truly one of a kind and it will definitely boggle your mind for sure. Would I check this ride out in lieu of other rides? This might probably be low on my priority list but I would still check it out if queues are short!

While we were waiting, they had to shut the ride down temporarily to "clean up" something real quick. If you're considering this ride and you're not sure, it might be best to watch a video of it online first.

First, it's probably the lowest SkyScreamer I've been on, with heights only up to 150 feet. I've noticed all the rides at Discovery Kingdom are pretty "low" for heights -- not sure if there is an ordinance (similar to Six Flags Over Georgia). I've been on the SkyScreamer at Over Texas (400 ft), Over Georgia (240 ft) and Great Adventure (400 ft) so this was definitely the lowest ride of them all. I personally am not a huge fan of this ride as it spins and makes me dizzy but my friend wanted to ride and get a view of the Vallejo area so I gave in and we rode. The ride is pretty identical to all the other clones in the chain. The speed is moderate (43 mph), the duration of the ride is similar and the views are breathtaking. But I still do only give this ride 3 stars because SkyScreamer is all about height and it does not have the height that other parks have, and simply -- it makes me pretty dizzy. I would only get on this ride if other people begged me to ride it with them.

Superman is the other one and I personally think that one is better than The Flash, but that does not mean The Flash has no presence in Discovery Kingdom here. The coaster itself looks pretty small as there isn't a lot of track, but that's mainly because it's a launch coaster that goes back and forth. It reminded me a lot like the now defunct Deja Vu in some ways. Outside the loading dock, there are two ways you can go -- one in an ultra-twisted inline curve, and the other that goes straight up 90 degrees. So you're kinda all over the place for this ride, but you're definitely in for a treat. With maximum speeds of 60 mph and going as high as 150 ft, the ride may seem like it's not much but there's truly a lot to offer. There's a lot of surprises while riding this out, so make sure to check this ride out when you're at the park !

The launch is great and I like the custom slanted twisted spike so everyone gets to go upside down which Six Flags Great America's did not have. I like Steel Venom at Valleyfair more because it has the holding brakes on the vertical back-spike. So this ride I would recommend for kids under the age of 17 would enjoy. But people over the age of 39 probably wouldn't enjoy it because there are some rough patches.

The only bummer was the parking. I had to park along the street and use the pathway to walk to it because the other side where there is parking appears to be apart of the apartment complex with a locked gate. Also I didn't notice any restrooms and the water fountain didn't work. Overall it was enough fun for an almost 5 year old because we played for over an hour and half...perfect because I need to go to the shopping plaza near by so it's a great way to tire out the kiddo then hit a store right across from the playground.

We walked to the Pier, they have 1 pit toilet we used. Had tp and hand sanitizer. Lots of folks fishing at the pier around 1pm. I asked one guy catch anything he said No. Then we hiked Bull Valley Trail, Carquinez Overlook Loop and back to car. About 2.02 miles. Nice views and about 4 benches I saw and 2 picnic tables at a view point.

Over the past year, I've been walking my way along San Pablo Bay first around Point Pinole and most recently the San Pablo Bay Regional Trail from Richmond to Rodeo. I've made my way eastward and found this area between Martinez and Port Costa. The centerpiece is the fully paved, car-free George Miller Trail. It winds its way along the hills that hug the coast of the Carquinez Strait. The bicyclists sped by but not that many, and foot traffic was fairly minimal. The views were quite pleasant with Benicia and the Benicia-Martinez Bridge in constant view. I walked further on Carquinez Scenic Drive, a real road but remote and quiet, in order to get to Port Costa. There was a nice short-cut through some pastoral hills where a cow or two would occasionally show up on the path. Definitely worth finding your way here. RELATED - Up for a hike? We had a great time at Sky Zone! This newer facility has something fun for the whole family. From…read morethe classic trampoline courts to dodgeball and basketball, everyone in our group found an activity they enjoyed. One of the associates even played an obstacle course game with the kids. If they completed the course in 7 seconds or less, they won a free Icee slushie. The kids absolutely loved the challenge and the reward! While the kids played, the adults could relax in the massage chairs or enjoy a few arcade games. They also have light snacks and refreshments available, making it easy to spend a couple of hours there while the kids burn off all their energy. We ended up buying the season pass because we had such a great experience, and we'll definitely be back. Another nice touch was the security staff at the entrance, which made us feel even more comfortable. Overall, I'd give Sky Zone a 10/10 and highly recommend it for families looking for a fun, active outing!

We planned ahead and filled out the waivers, around 115pm on a Sunday it wasn't as busy but once it hit around 3pm it was pretty busy. From the inside you don't realize how big of a place it is, for parents and family members just spectating, being a jacket because it's cold inside and you have to fill out a waiver to be inside and get a wrist band. They have a food court where they sell pizza, nachos, Icees (all the kids favorite) and some other snacks like candy and drinks. They also have an arcade and there's an area to leave your shoes, I wouldn't recommend leaving your shoes out, better to have someone watching them. My nephews ranged from 5-9 and the younger ones loved the big jungle gym, the foam pit, and the areas to bounce. It was pretty entertaining watching the older kids and employees playing basketball because you can hop pretty high. Overall it's great for all ages and time goes by quick, must be very careful because you can easily get injured. Located in a large plaza so there's plenty of parking.
