I am a disabled man and have been seeing a multitude of specialists and doctors my whole childhood and adulthood from chronic illness. This practice has gone so far down hill it needs to have everyone fired and restarted with a whole new staff and approach to healthcare and policies of polite and empathetic behavior towards patients. When I asked them to bill my insurance directly, they refused and said I had to pay the $25 first and they would reimburse me later. This has never happened to me before. I even double-checked my policy in front of them, but they still insisted that I pay. I also had to wait 30 minutes for the doctor, and the nurse looked sick while working. It felt like a scam. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I also asked how much the visit would cost without insurance, and she first said $100, then later said $170. Total scam. The positive reviews were definitely written by someone else or by the doctor's friends.
