I say go try them I do wish they had more flexible schedule that ranged from Monday - Sunday but I understand they are a new truck, the owners are always there and very friendly tell them chilo sent you! Give them a chance you will never go to another taco truck in town ever again and you won't break the budget at all. I will update with pictures next time just because I forget to take them since I just go straight to eating the food

But other than that the way the cooks acted towards my mother was unacceptable. The female cooks in the food truck kept looking at my mother in a disrespectful way while she was eating her food. When being treated in this manner, it obviously leaves the customer uncomfortable and we will not be returning to this place no matter how good the tacos or food could be. If you want to actually eat here on the benches they have, to enjoy your food you won't experience that because of the unnecessary stares you will receive by the cooks. The way they would not stop staring at my mother is very disrespectful and if I could give this food truck a 0 out of 5 stars I will but I can't.

I was always curious as…read moreto why there seemed to be a food truck at my apartment complex and finally had the chance to check them out tonight. The food is so delicious! I literally just finished my Al Pastor quesadilla and had to write a review! The Al Pastor is marinated pork and I was a bit skeptical to have it in a quesadilla but I was told its good so I decided why not? SO glad I got it! Not only is the pork tasty and juicy, there's so much of it! I loved that they did not hold back on their portions and after just one quesadilla (at $5) I'm satisfied. It came with a side of spinach, tomatoes, avocados (no extra charge yay!!) and topped with some cheese and cream. Really good stuff! Great customer service! They were really nice and friendly even though I was awkwardly staring at their menu for awhile. They had a variety of meats to choose from and had other options which I'll have to try next time. It was super quick service as well! The only downside is that they didn't have seating available but considering it's cold, I was okay with taking it home. Definitely recommending this food truck to everyone! Great food, great price and quick service? Can't get better than that with me! Side note: they are at Berkshire Manor West (off 54) every Tuesday night!

It was a busy early evening here in downtown Wake Forest as things are getting back to normal. People were out, the brewery had a nice crowd and the local eateries were hopping. I decided to keep it healthy tonight because I donated blood in the early afternoon. I have become a fan of Poke bowls lately and decided to give this food truck a try. I went with the #103 which is the Flame Seared Poke Bowl with yellowfin tuna. The ingredients were fresh. The bowl is built on a base of white sticky rice with avocado, carrots, cabbage, edamame, mango and crushed tataki chips. It is drizzled with a sweet soy sauce glaze and spicy Mayo, which complemented each other nicely. Again the tuna was really fresh and it was seared perfectly. I also got an order of the tempura shrimp cups which were awesome. You can get these as an appetizer or have them for a light lunch. The bango sauce (not sure what's in it) went with the cups nicely. Now, I couldn't find this food truck here on Yelp, so I added it to do this review. They may be a new business. However, for some reason the location pinned all the way out in Apex when I added them. Not the Yelp expert here so I have no idea how that happened. If your looking to find them I would have a street food finder application. I checked and they are on there. If you happen to see them in your town definitely check them out!

The owners were very cordial, professional, and had great customer service. Our food was prepared in a timely manner after placing our order. We ordered the CrackMac, Catfish Nuggets, Chophouse Fried Wings, Fried Okra, and Fries. When I first tried the CrackMac, I put the fork down all the way to the bottom and then scooped it up and ate a forkful. It was good but it didn't give me that boom flavor like I was expecting, so I tried mixing it up. After trying it once it was mixed up, the flavor intensified and was exhilarating. The highlight of that dish was the fried chicken skin. The flavor, texture, and crunch from those fried skins along with the smoked mac & cheese and barbecue chicken really sold that dish. It was truly a unique dish with a scrumptious flavor. I love a good fried okra, and these were really good. It wasn't fried too dry. It had sufficient moisture but was not soggy in the middle. The fries were standard, but they were also good. The Chophouse Wings were really good as well. The chef's signature seasoning really illuminates the flavor. It was fried well and had sufficient crisp. The wingettes were seasoned right through; however, the drumettes could've used a little more seasoning throughout the meat. My favorite dish was the catfish nuggets. These were seasoned perfectly. The flavor was on point, and you could taste the catfish without any competing ingredients. It was a nice size and was fried well. I would definitely try them again.
