Service is horrible. Workers have a nasty attitude. Care quality is good, but they don't know how to speak with patients with kindness.

My husband had a great treatment on a strained tennis knee with acupuncture and cupping.

Seriously I had allergy testing done here and one spot seemed to react but the Physicians'…read moreassistant seemed to not take that too seriously. I explained that I am itching constantly so she ordered some immune panels because she thought it could be some level of autoimmune disease. The tests came back quite a while ago and yet no phone call. Two of the tests appear abnormal so I called to get results and they said I had to come in for that. I can't. I have a brand new job and can't be absent for the first four months. The receptionist said they don't do telehealth. I couldn't believe it. She wants a separate appointment to go over the lab work. Is it urgent or not? I mean I got about 8 tubes of blood taken out of me. Just tell me the results! Has she even looked at my results? Did she care to let me know what they mean? What are next steps? Never in my life has a doctor refused to call with results. I am still itching like crazy every time my cat gets near me and randomly if I touch a certain plant or my dogs food dishes. My hands will itch like crazy and I have to put lotion on them and take an Allegra. So what's the deal with the immune panel? I now have to call my regular doctor to have them refer me elsewhere. I mean honestly the PA could have cared less about my situation. I will also complain to Anthem. Can't believe they are still referring to a place with this many 1 star reviews.

I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Khadavi, who listened to me and had compassion for my chronic conditions. Dr. Khadavi took a chance on me, and for the first time in 4.5 years I finally have some relief from my symptoms. Finally, a doctor who thinks outside the box for his patients. Dr. Khadavi and his staff are wonderful. If you or a loved one are looking for an amazing Allergist, Dr. Khadavi should be at the top of your list. I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Khadavi.

I was sent to him by my psychiatrist at the time to ask him to order genetic testing so I could find out what medications I am genetically predisposed to having reactions to, not necessarily allergic to, but to see what medications my body doesn't process properly. Sat down with him, explained what I said above, he said he wasn't familiar with the test in question at all, googled it on his tablet, read for about 30 seconds, then told me he wouldn't order that test, "it's not a valid test, this isn't something you should be ordering, I'll tell your psych the same thing." Then went on to say what he *could* do was do individual allergy testing of whatever medications my psych was *thinking* of ordering. I didn't go back because that isn't what I looking for. I got another doctor to order the genetic testing that Dr. Khadavi said "wasn't a valid test" because it *is* a valid test, and not only that, it was immensely more helpful in my treatment than one-by-one skin allergy testing could have been. What the results of the genetic testing showed was how quickly or slowly my body metabolizes diff medications, listed what medications I should absolutely stay away from, (several of which I already knew to be the case due to previous bad reactions, and not from allergic reactions), and what medications might be advantageous for me *to* take. A skin allergy test wasn't going to tell me about the metabolizing, and the extent of the genetic test would have been impossible for him to achieve with what he suggested. So, in saying the test wasn't valid, he wasn't being honest with me, I can only surmise that he just really wanted me to pay for extensive allergy testing that wouldn't have been necessary if the genetic testing went through. So, gonna pass on recommending this doctor; honesty is something I require in my medical relationships.

He found out that my recurrent debilitating sinus infections and respiratory infections were because of an immunodeficiency that could be addressed by a simple vaccine. He changed my life. This office is also very responsive and quick to deliver results, answer calls, and hand out appointments. There is a humanity and kindness in this office that simply cannot be found in most medical facilities anymore. I am a patient of UCLA health as well, and I saw a primary doctor when I got my last infection. She spent 2 minutes with me and could care less about my history. I went to Dr. Bakhaya after and immediately got the care I needed. Thank you to everyone at this office.

Not once did anyone say this is going to cost you PER test, so I picked a lot. Then the bill comes and it's over $400 for just mine... in addition the the $150 up front bill i paid! And my daughters was not as high since we hand selected a few. There is no way I would have picked all those if someone told me each would cost me. I talked to the office and they will not budge on it saying they already billed insurance so I have to pay Not to mention, the doctor dismissed me when I brought up the fact that I have Lyme, totally unrelated to why we were there... I simply mentioned that I want to ensure I can be healthiest I can be and my system isn't compromised by any allergies I could avoid Doctor and staff overall were nice, but major major miscommunication on their part on the billing and I will not be going back to a place that simply won't acknowledge their mistake and will not work with their new patients ... try better next time !
