They have the BEST and fresh pre-made sandwiches! I love coming here to get deli meat and different cheeses for my homemade charcuterie boards and sandwiches too - big fan of the coconut Gouda, smoked Gouda, creamy havarti, honey ham, mortadella, and salami. Closed on Sundays. read more

There was so much to choose from, but the place was packed so we didn't stay long. It was a Saturday afternoon and they are closed on Sundays. We had a huge, very soft and very fresh spicy salami sandwich to take with us. We bought several salamis, but the deli line for cheese was too long. Visiting Kelowna and the Mediterranean Market popped up on the web for being known for their subs. A 2 minute walk from the hotel we decided to check it out. It was very busy which shows how popular it truly is. We bought two subs and received great service. The subs were one of the best we've ever tasted. I have never been much of a sandwich fan but the sub that I ordered from the Mediterranean Market may have made me a convert. Grab a number as soon as you walk in and then start your decision making process. You get a choice of two meats and there are probably 50 to choose from. Then you have to pick a cheese and there are at least 75 to choose from. There is a $1 up-charge if you select a premium cheese, which in my case was smoked gouda. The sandwich making process isn't speedy because they are cutting and slicing fresh meats and cheeses for you. They are generous with the vegetables too, and will present you with a foot long sub that took me 2 days to finish! Knowing what I know now, my husband and I will select a sandwich together and split it so we can eat it all the same day. $7.60 for a sub is a bargain! The market itself is also quite large and has a broad selection of European grocery products at what appears to be reasonable prices. This place is a gem. read more

This Market has a truly incredible selection of Italian items, especially Olive oils, balsamic vinegars, dried pasta, as well as a beautiful deli with huge selection of cheeses and meats. However it is rather small and the aisles are very tight. And the parking is very difficult. I would suggest you get there early, or try to walk or bike there. read more

This is undoubtedly the best Italian market around. The prices are decent and there's a nice selection of deli meats and cheeses. We often order an Italian meat sub and split it but the problem is that now we don't really enjoy the fast-food subs anymore and don't even bother heading out for a sub if we're not able to have a sub from the Mediterranean Market. And I must mention the staff - so accommodating and friendly. One always feels like they are welcome at this establishment as soon as they walk in the door. read more

The best place to go in Kelowna when you want groceries that are a little more interesting (read tasty) then your average supermarket fair at a reasonable price. Wide selection of meats and cheeses at the deli and something different is on sale time so one can cheaply try everything. I do wish they had more types of Havarti though.
