She said, "they'll call me and I should have a seat". The waiting room was overcrowded along with a very long line. Next thing I know 30 mins goes by, I hear names being called at isn't mine. I over heard another staff say, they were about to close. I walk up to the window. It almost 11 am now. I told them I had a 10:15 appt and I didn't hear my name being called. The first staff I speak to when I walked in, says,"Oh I wasn't calling appointment name!?" Another staff then look online found my confirmation appt and I then had my blood drawn. The nurse was in such a rush drawing my blood I was uncomfortable the whole time. Such poor customer service, NEVER AGAIN.

I have never…read morehad as pleasant an experience as I had this morning at the Mercerville location on Whitehorse/Mercerville Rd. I am a terrible person to draw blood from; squeamish, tiny veins, squirmy at times, feeling faint. Although I have had many good Phlebotomists at many locations I have not had good interactions with the staff. Surly receptionists, overworked staff doing too many things to get patients checked in, long waits after seated in a chair, multiple people trying to find a suitable spot to stick me, switching back and forth from one arm to the other with a tourniquet; all unpleasant for someone who feels faint just contemplating. Both the check-in staff and the phlebotomist this morning were highly professional, courteous, and skilled. That office hummed like a well-oiled machine. I had to travel 20 minutes and pass several other locations to get there. Well worth it! Oh, by the way, someone at 1255 actually answered the phone and responded to questions for 5 minutes the day before. The other locations I called did not answer the phone and their website would not give me an appointment less than a week out. I'll give benefit of the doubt that phone ringing off the hook probably a symptom of short staffing. Not the staff's fault.
