A kind Samaritan pushed my wheel chair back in to the ER as I did not have socks, shoes, or a coat and my personal scrub bottoms (yes I'm a nurse of 15 years) were very wet! I could have died from their very inhumane treatment! And I have confirmation of my back and hip disabilities down in TX and my home state! Would have rather than return to their ER! Every time I try to call and ask questions nobody answers the phones, I have sat on the phone waiting for an hour before, and then I drove up to the building and there was only one person there. The ladies at the reception desk are quite rude with their tone, and how the present themselves, as if they hate their job. And then most of the time when I go in there to get something checked they don't tell me anything useful that I don't already know, and they don't help with what I could do to better my situation. I will not come to this establishment anymore.

I arrived at the north entrance at the same time a young couple with a baby and bags was dropped off. The north entrance was locked because no one was at the desk. This young couple, with baby and bags, had to walk all the way around the hospital to get to the main entrance. I felt terrible for them. When we got to the main entrance, there was no one there either! This wasn't a problem for me, but it sure was for them! Hendrick just recently took this hospital over, and I am SO NOT IMPRESSED! Staffing appears to be at a minimum. Please do better for your patients and visitors.

Dr. Erin Garner used to by my OB/GYN and delivered my son last year. I would advise anyone against…read moreusing her as your doctor. Throughout my pregnancy, I could not breathe. I kept telling her that I could not breathe and she did nothing. She chalked it up to me just being pregnant. Throughout my entire pregnancy I could not breathe, just sitting on the couch I felt like I was going to pass out. After I was discharged from the hospital after having my son, I had to be rushed to the ER. My breathing was worse than before. The doctors at Abilene Regional ER found that I had water on my heart and lungs, and were appalled that my OB/GYN discharged me with water on my heart and lungs.I had to stay in the hospital for several days while they monitored me and tried to get the fluid off of my heart and lungs. An EKG was done and Dr. Garner was supposed to give me my results which failed to happen. I called her office to find out my results, and found out that they had my result for WEEKS and just sat on them. During that call, I asked for Dr. Garner to call me back which never happened. Instead, she fired me as her patient. Per her office staff, I was just supposed to "assume" that my heart was ok due to her not calling me to tell me my results.
