Dishonest. Don't let your employer send you here for a pre-employment screening. This has been a 2 day event. They were dishonest about getting it done in one day. They say they can serve you an appointment, but scheduling an appointment is just a lie. It doesn't mean they will get you in at your appointed time. You will sit and wait for the 10 other people that came in before you. I have never had a pre-employment screening be such a problem. I don't even want the job anymore! read more

I love checking in with Tony, and the practitioners that saw me were excellent. They were efficient and helpful.

This MedExpress certainly does the job. As others have noted, the area is convenient, close to restaurants, banks, schools, etc. But, parking and especially leaving this MedExpress is a bit of a struggle. They take most major insurance brands, and you can find the full list on their website. Since I went in for a physical exam, it was $45 out of pocket, which was reasonable. Walked in, no appointment. The waiting area seems clean and even a bit upscale. Some random client left from behind the two dark doors and was shaking her head, abruptly taking her mask off, and saying "this is *expletive* ridiculous." I waited for 15 minutes before being called into a room. There, a nurse took the usual vital signs and I went into a different room to wait for the practitioner, who was a CRNP. There was only one provider, but she came in quickly, did what she needed to do, and I was out in under 30 minutes total. Overall, good experience, but they are a bit understaffed and you may run into some interesting clients there. Note: they require for you to have at least one credit/debit card in their database even if you want to pay cash. read more

I had a time sensitive drug screening I needed completed and their hours say they are open till 8 PM and I got there at 11 AM and they said they don't have the time to do that for me because there's only one guy working. Horrible! I was taken back to my room quickly enough - to wait for more than an hour while other patients who arrived after me were seen! When I was being interviewed about what was going on with me, coworkers kept coming in the room and interrupting Tony, as if I didn't matter because they couldn't find something, and they needed him to come help him find something completely unprofessional, except for Tony and Justine the woman at the front desk The PA was confrontational, because by that point, I felt like I had been forgotten, and I came out in the hallway and ran into her as she was leaving someone else's room, who clearly arrived there After me and said oh yeah, I was just coming to see you which I didn't believe and then she came in the room and forced me to tell her everything all over again and then told me that I was offputting. I will give them credit they had me there so long, my pharmacy was closed and they rerouted the prescription rather quickly, but I would not go to this MedExpress unless I were dying in their parking lot go somewhere else. read more

I decided to call before driving out of my way the next day. The receptionist abruptly cut me off and said "you just come in". I said I came in yesterday and nobody was there to see me, so I was making sure there is today". She didn't answer. read more

Had to write a very positive review to offset the mediocre rating they currently have. On a Friday afternoon during COVID I was tasked with completing my annual urine drug free test. I had a long wait in their parking lot. But when I got in and out in fifteen minutes I was happy. The man attending to my test was super friendly despite long hours and collecting urine. Only flaw was asking me to pull the door closed behind me after washing my hands during COVID. Very good service despite difficult circumstances. read more

Worth the read...I came in for a cut on my finger from cutting a coconut open carelessly. I probably could have let it heal but didn't want to take any chances with infection. (Basically went for that assurance) The staff was lovely, very pleasant, no complaints there! Was seen very quickly on a Friday morning also. I was told I would have the wound flushed and cleaned, and they decide it didn't need stitches if i wasn't active but could do a liquid adhesive- ok great. Except two weeks past and it wasn't healing, it was sore, inflamed, hard uinder the skin, mucus fluid would drain out if I pricked it with a needle. Finally going on week 4 post appointment I picked up and applied some oil of oregano (powerful natural antibiotic) and it started to throb intensely. That evening I pricked it again in two places to create a change in pressure, and what happened next was wild. A mucus coated piece of coconut shell literally JUMPED out of the hole. It had been making its way to the top of my skin for weeks. Looking back at the appointment neither the nurses or main practitioner lifted the actual skin to flush OUT the wound. They only cleaned the outside surface, then essentially GLUED it shut.. I mean come on. I would NEVER come back here, they can't even clean a wound that barely needed stitches. I'm lucky I picked at it, I knew something was wrong. The finger started healing immediately after the FOREIGN object was removed. But I've attached photos of the progression of my little infection. $100+ I'll never see again, and for literally nothing. I'm lucky it wasn't worse, but this place is a death trap in my opinion. read more

I went to MedExpress for treatment for contact dermatitis (itching and wide-spread rash) as a result of changing my laundry detergent. I was given 2 topicals - a cortisone ointment and an anti-fungal. I never used the anti-fungal. The cortisone cream did absolutely nothing to correct the rash appearance nor the itching. The anti fungal was prescribed most likely because I have inflammation under my abdominal fold and breasts. I know the difference between contact dermatitis and a fungal infection. The rash is widespread and not limited to those areas. Okay, so, I called MedExpress again after 1 month about possibly being prescribed oral corticosteroids, and asked if the nurse practitioner who saw me could call in a prescription. I was told I would have to come in again, or see my PCP for a prescription. Because the timing of this issue was bad (PCP retiring and needing to get a new one,) I had to resort to going to an urgent care, when a mere phone call could have taken care of the issue. I can't get an appointment with a dermatologist for 2 months. I have an appointment with my new PCP in 2 weeks. Why do I have to be seen again? Nothing's changed. Why couldn't a prescription be called in for me? I will think twice about going to ANY urgent care facility, and I will NEVER go back to this one. read more

I love the staff at this MedExpress, they deserve 5 stars. My issue with this place is the cleanliness and privacy. I've been here three times, and each time I felt grossed out by one thing or another. Unfortunately, at my last visit there was poop and what looked like blood on the ground near the exam table, and the walls were covered in dents and black scuff marks. Also, while you're waiting, you can listen to every single word of every conversation happening in the neighboring exam rooms. If you visit here, change your clothes and wash up after, and keep your voice down if you want privacy. read more

Waiting for two hours to be seen. One to be processed after you first sign in. Not express at all. People are hacking and coughing all over the place and not being seen or separated while waiting. I'm sure I will wind up getting something else while I'm here. If I could have seen my doctor I would but it's a Sunday. People are leaving to go to the ER. Don't come here if you don't have to. read more

Came in for relief because my doctor couldn't see me right away. I received a treatment that increased my pain tenfold. I was released even as I was crying that my pain was worse. I couldn't turn on my car without screaming in pain. I went back in to tell them. Their response was to change my paperwork to "patient feels no relief." Find a doctor who cares. They only care about digging in the Cracker Jack box to see if their medical degrees are the prize at the bottom. read more

Never go to this facility. I waited for 3 hours outside for a Covid test without ever being waited on, while only seeing 1 other patient go inside the whole time. The ladies working in there do not care about your time, they only want to help when it's convenient for them. There is supposed to be an urgency for sick people to be tested and they couldn't have cared less about me. read more

Unfortunate location and personnel. Completely in flexible - not willing to problem solve - these are out procedures and we won't help you. Avoid if possible - Concerta down the street. All issues can be resolved with helpful people - and a smile in the morning would be nice. read more

First time at a place like this. They did their jobs well and we got seen right away. The doctor was very quick, in and out. Not much bedside manor. However, "express" is what the point is more so than anything, right? I would go back but only if my illness was not something I had a lot of questions about. read more

Did not have the same experience. Fast, friendly and no problems. They are fast, that's why it's called and Urgent Care. Doctor comes in, listens to what's going on, prescribes you a med, you leave. If you're looking to sit around and talk about the wife and kids, go to your PCP. read more

I was on my way to get there a few minutes before closing time at 8:00pm. I called to make sure I would be seen. The person who answered the call told me everyone will leave at 8:00pm. She specifically mentioned the doctor and the nurse will be out of the door at 8:00pm. This seemed fishy to me, as she did not answer my question directly. I ended up going to UPMC emergency. Knowing that the staff there world not be grumpy to treat a patient who shows up that may cause them not go home earlier than what they are expected to. read more

Horrible customer service. The receptionist wasn't helpful at all. She wasn't able to answer a simple question and when asked if there was someone who could provide an answer she said no, you have to come and be evaluated. She then proceeded to hurry off the phone. For a medical facility this type of service is unacceptable. read more
