However they have 1-2 employees working their phone support and app support throughout all of California. I went to a job last week and could not clock in. The manager and the surgery center said Medely said my certs were not up to date. Completely erroneous information and that was upsetting because I strive to go above and beyond in this regard. The manager called the 800 number twice while I was in the office and they hung up on her and then I called multiple times (sometimes being on hold for over 30 minutes) and they always hang up on me. I have worked as a Registered Nurse with Medely staffing in conjunction with other staffing agencies for over three years, maintaining a strong professional record and consistently upholding my responsibilities to patients and facilities. Since relocating to Arizona, I have continued to pick up shifts through your platform and expected the same standards of fairness and communication. Last week, I was contacted by a member of your compliance team referencing facility feedback that was described as negative and implied professional misconduct. Specifically, I was accused of sleeping during a shift and ignoring attempts by staff to reach me -- claims which are false, defamatory, and deeply misrepresentative of my actions and role as a licensed RN. To clarify: * I was on a break with no patients on the unit and explicitly informed the other nurse I would be in the lobby taking a brief nap. I provided my contact number in case of any changes or concerns. * There was no indication or communication from the staff that my conduct was inappropriate at the time. * The nurse involved had been vocal about dissatisfaction with her work environment, and I believe this situation may have been a result of retaliation or miscommunication, which unfortunately resulted in damage to my professional standing. The lack of support from the facility, the conditions under which I worked, and the subsequent deactivation of my account -- without a full and fair investigation or opportunity for correction -- have caused me significant professional and emotional harm I hope to resolve this matter professionally, but I am also prepared to explore other channels, including contacting the Arizona Board of Nursing and seeking legal counsel, if necessary. HORRIBLE company to work. I am a Cert Surg Tech in Denver, CO. I caught a potential patient error @ a Urology Surgery Center. Reported it to the Quality Assurance site & was subsequently fired!! They stated : Joint Commission had complaints about my competencies & skills. I've been a tech for 43 years!! This is clearly Defamation of Character & Emotional Duress. I've worked for them for years and while I had no support from them at all during difficult situations when my license was on line i stayed with them and picked up shifts when i could. Then all suddenly they deactivated my account for violating guidelines. No explanation nothing! I've been trying to get an answer. Nothing! So rest assure you aren't your own boss. Some pencil pusher sits at the desk and decides without notifying you that you are out! One single time i canceled a shift in less than 24 hours but besides that I always showed up or canceled in the timely manner. I don't even want to talk about all the shifts that was canceled by facilities even when i was in a short term contract with them. I called them to let them know I couldn't come and the next day I was blocked from the entire platform!!! Completely unfair. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They need to understand that people can have flat tires if they are driving long distances. I should have never been blocked just because I had a flat tire. I even called to let them know this. Zero stars. Zero support. Please do not use Medely for picking up shifts. I applied to pick up shifts, uploaded all my information, including bank information. Then I contacted customer service to request them to update my profile because something was left out (maybe my fault). After I completed their request full out a form to update, my account was deactivated for not following community guidelines. At the point, I didn't not pick up any shifts, much less be tardy or a no-show for one. For 3 days, I was messaging their virtual chat agent and emailed them. I keep getting the response that someone from their team will get back to me. It's been 3 days - no response, and when I first contacted Medely it only took them less than 12 hours to respond. (That agent Willow wasn't the sharpest pencil in the box if you know what I mean as I had to explain to her multiple times in multiple ways what my issue was.) Today I tried to call their customer service and no matter what option I chose, that I'm a nurse on travel or local assignment, I'm a facility, I need employment verification, or any other issue, the automated response would be that I am not allowed to call from my area. So I called from my business cell phone and no matter which option I chose, it connected to me to wait to speak with an agent. YUP, MEDELY BLOCKED MY NUMBER FROM CALLING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited for 5 minutes and unfortunately they sent me to their voicemail. Some may have been having great experience with Medely, but I just want to caution you on what they do to other nurses, what they can do to their current nurses, and I wish I checked their reviews before giving out my personal information. This company is horrible. They will suspend your account over anything and it's impossible to get in contact with someone live. They don't email or respond back to you AT ALL. They are frauds and i dont Recommend nobody to work for them. Even if it's a emergency and you have to cancel they will suspend you. The company needs to be shut down. Was told I needed 6 months RECENT experience to work here. I worked 6 months during the pandemic however I did take a break. But i've been a CNA longer then they've been a company. 10+ years. It was a complete slap in the face. CNAs pre COVID have the experience that an agency should want to represent them because we are seasoned. I am in this field everyday, and even during COVID, it was absolutely horrendous and I remember seeing the new CNAs and TNAs refuse to give showers, walk past call lights, not do rounds, no water etc. And they have the residents conditioned into thinking it's acceptable. When seasoned aides like myself are come on the floor, we work twice as hard to fix what was/not done. This company needs to sit down at a table full of CNAs to actually know what's going on. Took a year off work to take care of a family member who had become sick with long COVID while my partner worked. Finally ready to get back into the groove of things. Waited two weeks for an interview with Medely in which they told me my 20 years of experience was "not enough" because they "don't have time to train people that haven't worked recently." I find it funny that someone who has that much experience who is proficient on every major manufactured scanner and in all advanced types of imaging would be denied work. They may as well use an algorithm to filter people out if they're not going to use the interview to get to know someone. Who would turn down that much experience just for some arbitrary silly rule? Ended up going with another contract company who appreciates my experience and skill set. read more

after working overtime (double) shifts and a review of my account I asked for them to audit my account As no double time was paid. no response on that issue. Then they erased my clock in time and blocked my account by " routine maintenance" (exactly at the time I'm to clock out?) Hmm, then said I violated community rules as well. This looks like class action, because it seems that only long term employees are of a certain ethnicity. So its time for the EDD to see if I can get paid. State law which is regular pay from 1-8 hours, time and a half from 8-12 hours and double time from 8-16 hours. medeley personnel, please check your accounts. read more

Aya does a better at communicating and looking after the nurses that work hard. Medely did nothing to compensate for the hours posted, and lessened the shift after arriving on site. The drive to the shift was two hours. a double shift was posted on the site. I arrived ahead of time, and nothing was done by the customer success team EXCEPT change the shift to eight hours last minute. If your a nurse and you want to work with Medely, please dont waste your time, without checking your shift with the facility and Medely first before making the drive. read more

As a surgeon running a surgery center, a streamlined business to assist in staffing my surgery center is very appealing. However, this type of business simply does not run itself. The humans behind Medely do not make themselves sufficiently available to make this a workable proposition. Every time we try to work with Medely the service seems to get worse. No one is actually available to resolve issues or address questions about potential staff-like are they vaccinated for covid, have they been tested for COVID, are their licenses and insurance up to date, are they CPR certified? We have an account manager but they do not return calls. The concept is great. However, this is a business that requires 24 hour customer service, which Medely does not offer. Often last minute staffing issues come up. For a surgery center this means learning about a staffing issue at 4 am when a nurse or scrub tech determines that their child is sick and the person they rely on to help them is not available. It happens. WIth out a commitment to properly staff the business, it is very difficult to discern if a potential individual fits the required staffing situation. The absence of this human involvement means that the execution of the actual business is very unsatisfactory in my opinion. I will be looking for better options for connecting with last minute fill-in staff. This business promises this help, but consistently fails to deliver for us. I wish Medely actually offered the customer service that would make this a real service. There is a need for this service. I was impressed with the service the company indicated they provided initially, however at this time I am highly disappointed. They call themselves the "Uber" for nurses. They are the middle man between the nurse and the facility that needs you. Catch is your a 1099 employee. That is fine but I have an Inc. The "director" could not tell me if that was a problem, come to find out it was. I get an email they deactivated my acct. I made corrections to the W-9 as requested and heard NOTHING. I sent 4 follow up emails and 2 phone calls to the "headquarters" and the cell of the "director." Still NO follow up. Then I IM'd their chat box about it 2 weeks later to see if someone else could help me and I find out the "director" is out dealing w/ a family emergency. Fine-Understandable. Then when I do get a follow up I am told that "administration," I guess the same ones who could not follow up with me on my W-9 while the "director" was out, decided to only on board RN's for the Los Angeles market, within a 50 mi radius, to ensure that I can get to the job on time. This here completely defeats the purpose of the service this company is to provide and besides that I am a grown adult and think I can choose how far I drive and have learned how to make it to work on time. Do Uber drivers have administrators tell them "you can't go there, it's too far?" That's not all....In addition to the lack of W-9/1099 knowledge, inaccurate information was passed about hourly rates and viewing job details. I was told by the "director" that when I got a text/ping for a job I could review the pay rate, because sometimes the facility may offer more than Medely's flat rate, and I could view the job details. WRONG! My first ping I attempted to do just that, view the details and there were none. I had to IM chat the help desk to get the job details. As far as the rate, I was told by the IM-er that there is always only one rate and time and 1/2 after 8 hrs, etc. Never will there be another rate offered by the facility. I got the types of patient's as well from the IM chat (no PHI info). But wait there is more....I asked right after "on-boarding" about basic nursing competency training typically required for all nurses. This was the first time it was not required so I was curious and asked "why not?" I never got an answer, not even 2 weeks later. So given the lack of knowledge r/t W-9 questions and 1099's, the inaccurate information passed about hourly rates and viewing job details, and inability to answer questions about basic nursing competency training and poor follow up - nurses and facilities who are thinking of using this company be very very leery. read more
