This is one of the lesser-known employment agencies in the area. I had a chance to visit them…read morebecause I applied for a position they advertised online. Upon my arrival, I was given a small stack of paperwork I needed to date and sign relating to the client company where I was to be assigned. Once that was completed, they had me go to a vacant computer to fill out more forms, this time pertaining to my personal information. When the electronic forms were all done, I had to take a typing test. The computer I used to take the typing test was S L O W and could not keep up with my typing speed on the keyboard. The website for the typing test also kept generating lots of pop-up ads which slowed me down even further. I took the test a number of times before I got a passing/satisfactory score. Drug testing was also required, so I was given a small plastic container and led to the restroom, where I gave a urine sample. Finally, I watched an introductory/safety video which was required viewing for all new applicants. Before I left, the recruiter said she would contact me on the following Monday (this was on a Friday when I came in) so that I could start work on Tuesday. When Monday came around, I never received a call, so I called them before the end of the day to find out what was going on. I was told by another recruiter (the one I originally dealt with was out of the office) that they were going to have a meeting with the client company to find out how many people were needed (or something to that effect). Needless to say, I was NOT happy! X-( Lastly, I got a call that Friday letting me know I will be working the following Tuesday at the client company, a local non-profit. Overall, this agency did as they promised. However, I took away a star for being given erroneous information. They shouldn't be telling applicants these things unless they were TRUTHFUL! I took away another star because the computer I used to take the typing test was slow and full of pop-ups. Employment agencies can be helpful in a job search, but I truly feel you're better off finding a job on your own.

They refused services to me for no reason, felt a very racist aura surrounding both of the front…read moredesk members. Told me that they had plenty of work, I just couldn't get any of it. Never even asked for my name or license

I used to love this place, when Maria was there (she moved up to Human Resources). She was so…read morecaring that she set me up with another current employee at the time Jorge (I believe) who was just as responsive and caring as she was. They helped me,and place me with a great company and high pay. Then, covid hit and unfortunately, a lot of us were laid off. I am currently looking for work again and I kid- you-not have been to that location two times in person and called over 6 times in the past two months. The current employees there are mind blowing useless . Not only , Do they not response ,but they tell me the same thing every single time!!! I call or see them in person. The first thing they say "like that's all the know how to say is " You need to update Your W2" and insurance information, or you need to send us your resume". After, I already done it. The last time I stopped by which was a week ago in person they tell me, "you have to update your W2" and I said, "I already did that and I came in to do it". Receptionist, looks at computer (maybe her ig )or something lol and says, ooh okay. Then looks at the other receptionist who doesn't even want to look at her. Finally, making eye contact with her and then that receptionist says ," you need to send us your resume". Which, I already did at least three times already. But, my parent raised me right and I need to stay professional. I get it I've worked before in my life and companies makes mistakes. So, I held in (with all my being) my rage. I resent the resume and stayed as polite as possible although. I've already been in contact 5 times through phone and email and two times in person within two months. She then tried to change her attitude a bit since they both looked like they wanted to die just being there and pretending to look busy. Since no one is in there and every time I go no one is there. Before, there would always be at least one person looking for employment. Anyways, she tells me about a current job opening in commerce (I swear to I heard this three times already a customer service job in commerce) and unsure about the pay. Says, I will have my manager look at your resume and contact you within two days ,but if not call us. Gives me a card. In my head I'm like, I have been, and emailing and now ,I'm here and you're telling me to contact he office again for assistance. I get it, I'm the one in need of a job and I must put in the work, but their job is to help people look for employment and NOT give me the round around its so unprofessional and I've used their services before, even used them to find employees for a job I was at and at my most current job had their managers coming in to my job location trying to get our office to be contacted with them. I would refer anyone that is in need of a job. It's so disappointing and frustrating to see all these new people(robots) with no facial expressions or desire to help people yet alone be there and being verbatim. At least response to emails, tell us there isn't any job opening. COMMUNICATED! Before, these current employees, they would update me on process, tell me directly,if there wasn't any job opening and contacted me as soon as there was one! Answer an email, answer a text. I no longer recommend this place. It's truly disappointing to see it as it is right now.
