She takes one customer at a time to make sure they get every they need. I was referred to her by the doctors at Woods Mill Orthopedics when I was diagnosed with a tear in my fascia. The doctor gave me a boot to wear which would allow me to walk without pain. When I met with Mary, she gave me what I really needed which was support for my feet, knowledge to prevent further injury, and a good plan for healing in the shortest time possible. She told me what shoes I needed for balance and support. I felt immediate relief and was able to go on vacation and heal while she worked on making custom orthotics for me. By the end of the vacation, I was walking with little to no pain and my foot was healing nicely. Mary then helped me find the right shoe and added the custom insert. There was no adjustment period required, I simply put on the shoes and started wearing them. I had tried other inserts in the past and they felt like I had a rock under my foot. Not this one, it was comfortable and it gave me the support needed to protect my feet. I play tennis four to six times a week and I realize now that the injury happened because I didn't have appropriate foot wear. I was released today, less than five weeks from the injury, to start hitting again. If you are a tennis player, have planter facetious or foot pain of any kind, I would recommend Mary at sole control. Mary will take her time with you, she provides a great service, and I will be grateful to her forever for getting me back on my feet.
