I took extraordinary personal measures to ensure this would be a success. Full up-front fee paid was $2,200.00. A series of services and products were to be provided. The products included temporary ("temp") and permanent ("perm") orthotic insoles. Sequence was to include molds of feet, F-Scan with gait analysis to evaluate, "temps" by Weiss, "perms" by others, follow-up gait analysis with F-scan to confirm, modify "perms" if needed, and repeat as required. Short version - 4 months later, temps plus two perms were total disasters, and a series of services was killed before the 2nd step, meaning the remaining steps ALREADY PAID FOR will never happen.. Next, I made a request for refund and Weiss' lawyer invited and challenged me to sue, which raises these questions-- * Since when is it proper to play "keep-away" with a self-pay medical patient's cash in an apparent gamble that the St. Louis doctor's patient, residing in Texas, will not be able to take effective countermeasures ? * Since when is it proper to keep the medical patient's money for services you know you will never perform due to your own negligence and malpractice ? * Since when is it proper to hide your DOCUMENTED negligence and medical malpractice behind forcing the patient to run the gauntlet of the legal system ? Ethics ?? Morals ?? Trust ?? This is not opinion, this is reporting events that have occurred. Can't un-ring the bell.

I had to wait half an hour in the waiting room, and then at least another half hour in a patient room waiting for the doctor. It took another 20 minutes of waiting for the procedure to starts after receiving anesthesia, and 10 minutes for a procedure that usually only takes 15 seconds with other doctors. Was provided no after care antibiotic and only got a note that said to soak my toe for unnecessary amounts of time. It turns out the visit wasn't even worth all that waiting because I still got an infection from it even though I did all after care instructions. Needless to say I did NOT see Dr. Duddy for antibiotics for this problem. If you want routine procedures botched by crappy doctors, come to Midwest Podiat

I had no idea what was in store for me. The salesman brought out a machine to message or feet and he was also kind. 1 hour later we learned they sell an insert system to support your walking. You start off with one insert and there are several other levels to provide support for walking. The insert or sole system cost starts at $1700 and goes up to $2500. I realize I was not in the right place and $1700 of support was not for me. I didn't have a doctor tell me I needed special support so can't justify the cost. I just wanted more support for walking as I have a torn meniscus. It maybe for someone else but this system was not for me. They could have saved me some time by starting with the price and not taking 1 hour to learn this piece.

Having fungi on my feet and under my toes has been a family problem…read more I wish I had taken better care of myself earlier. However, I must live this life in the forward position. The lady at the desk was friendly, took my co-pay and got me back to the examination room. She made sure to have me remove my shoes and socks before the doctor came in. The doctor is very professional checking my feet and trimming my nails. Overall- I had a better than expected visit.

Despite multiple calls to the insurance company on my part, the office initially failed to acknowledge the error. I was eventually refunded $110 you have been scamming my 89yo mother of ; however, shortly afterward, we received a letter indicating that care had been discontinued. This sequence of events suggests that Dr. Krystle Scott and the office were unwilling to confront and resolve legitimate issues in a professional manner. Raising a valid concern about billing should never result in dismissal or retaliation. Patients and their advocates have the right to question billing or care issues without fear of being ignored, dismissed, or removed from care. I respectfully request that Dr. Krystle Scott and the office review this matter thoroughly, ensure open communication regarding patient concerns, and handle all interactions professionally and without bias. It is essential for patient trust, safety, and quality of care that concerns are addressed promptly and constructively, rather than avoided or escalated unnecessarily. A written response clarifying and reflecting the office's position on this matter and the steps that will be taken to prevent similar situations in the future might help your sad 3.8 star review. I would give zero stars if I could, but I can't even bring myself to give one because I know this was one day and I don't wanna let it ruin your practice so I'll give you three. But this was a very undeserved three.
