Over the next few months, I sent seven (!!!) emails to customer service requesting an update and made various calls. Most of the calls and emails never received responses. The singular email response I received said that they would "give an update on Monday"--which they never did. I got a refund using the customer service chat feature on the website. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Making the appointment was easy, and when you arrive you're buzzed in, which creates a really respectful and private environment if that's something you need. Tallie took the time to help me pick out a beautiful wig and then customized it so it truly felt like mine. I was able to get it by the next day, which was amazing, and I left feeling like a completely different person. She also provided a wig holder, travel case, and brush, which made the whole experience feel even more thoughtful and complete. Since then, I've had so many compliments, and people genuinely cannot tell that I'm wearing a wig. It took a full 12 weeks to only to have to ship it back for it to be fixed, which they said it would take only 1-2 weeks since they would put me on top priority and it took 4 weeks. It took 4 months to get it back! They send the actual wig making to some ladies in China or Philippines. I would have been finished with chemo had I not had any delays. It's a waste of my time, energy and money. I will use cold capping next time. They also stole my hair. I sent in almost 600g of hair, 3 full head of hair. And my wig was 180g. Not the 300g they initially say they will put in the wig. The wig was so thin that I was too embarrassed to wear. That's why I had to send it back. They said they have to check if they had my hair since they don't usually keep and of course they had my hair since they probably only used 1/2 of it and saved the rest for themselves. When I finally got it back "fixed" they added 10g of hair (190g total now). I am very unhappy with the process and the wig is decent. Better to save your money and spend it on something else that will help you get better. Shame on them for making cancer patients pay a fortune for our own hair to be made into an unsatisfactory wig and then keeping the client's hair to make other people's wigs. If you must get a wig made out of your own hair, hire a wig maker here and you will pay just the same and get it way faster.

I expressed to them that I had a relative who was dying of cancer and that I needed to sell my hair so that I could give it to him for treatment and whatever else his needs were. The lady offered me at least 1/3 the value that was quoted on a reputable online platform and I questioned the quotation given. She said that it wasn't realistic to expect anything higher because the online quotes are not accurate, my color hair was too common, and bc of the quality of my hair (which was actually good). After letting her know I would think about it, I then decided that any amount was better than nothing to give to my relative, and let her know I would sell my hair to her. The lady then told me she was no longer interested and to go online to sell my hair! I found this to be extremely unprofessional and quite heartless considering the situation. But I'm so glad I did not sell my hair to them because I did sell it on the hairsellon website and was paid triple what they offered and well above my asking price. Not only that, but the person who bought it was from Kuwait, paid for shipping costs, and was buying my hair for her auntie who had lost hair because she had cancer treatments. Now that is truly compassionate care. This place makes me cringe at their purpose and supposed care for cancer patients. If you need to sell your hair to someone who really could need it and value it, I suggest you go elsewhere. I have had very good success w hairsellon twice to people who had family with cancer and could relate and lovingly gave for my hair.
