The interview was fairly easy, and both HR and staff came off as very welcoming and friendly, but are wishy washy". The interview focused on my internship experience and my future goals (how working for the company will help me achieve them). Onboarding was down at their LA station, and that process was done efficiently. do expect to be placed behind the wheel of an ambulance by day 2. They tell you their samsara system isn't on for that day, but it is. I ended up having a remedial day where I was told I was in the clear to get comfortable and practice. My FTO was patient and trusting, but I ultimately paid the price for that day. i asked my FTO for feedback, and the feedback given ended up being false, according to what hr had to say. i ended up "not meeting probation standards". read more

I called them on a Sunday to book services for a appointment on Wednesday at 2pm which that was ample time for them to get me to my appointment on time so call them on Wednesday at 1pm they said they were running late so I waited until 1:45pm to call to cancel and reschedule my doctor's appointment. My father, currently incapacitated by a broken knee, needed non-emergency medical transportation to and from his orthopedic surgeon's office. I don't know the names of the man and woman who picked him up in Claremont at around 2:00, but they were prompt, courteous, and very careful with him. Unfortunately, my dad's visit lasted much longer than anticipated, so his return service was with another vehicle, as we were now in the early evening hours. Tamira was assigned to take over and she was by herself. Apparently, she was the only person available in the area at that hour and with such short notice. Tamira, who goes by "T", handled the assignment with graciousness, care, and formidable strength. All in all, we were very pleased with Med Trans, and plan to use them again if we can. read more

If I could give a flat out zero star I would. The issues we are having are dating back to June. Their inconsiderate drivers block my entry or exit to my garage several times a week and have no respect or regards to my urgency to leave my home for work. The drivers have the nerve to question what is "my hurry" to leave. I should not have to explain my personal schedule or urgency to pull my cars in or out of MY garage when they are blocking me in with NON LIFE THREATENING medical transportation services. Worst of all, the drivers and companion drivers (in personal vehicles) are disrespectful, use profanities and threatened my spouse in the process. He only changed his his tone and language when he saw ME pull out my phone. We are left with nothing but fear from retaliation from the above mentioned accompanying driver from Med Trans after we reported their inappropriate and rude behavior to their home office. This is for their services in the San Fernando Valley area. They respond to inquiries VERY fast, so definitely worth 2 stars for that, but other than that, I'm really not impressed. Read why below. I'm 9 months pregnant and as I'm approaching my due date, I've started to research transportation options to the hospital in case the baby decides to arrive while my husband is at work and he can't get out fast enough, or a similar scenario. NOT talking about a huge emergency (as in, baby's head is coming out, lol, or experiencing complications, as these would be 911 calls obviously!), but in a normally progressing labor where you just need a ride to the hospital at short notice if your spouse can't get to you fast enough, a company like that would be ideal and much better than an LA taxi, right? Wrong! I sent an email this morning inquiring whether I could count on them for arranging medical transportation to my delivery hospital at short notice if needed (hospital is a mere 7 miles from our house, both within their service area, and their services would only be needed during regular business days and hours - all of which was explained in my email). Their website also explicitly lists 'hospital admitting' as one of their available services. The response I got came in less than an hour after I sent the email (hence the 2 stars, appreciated the prompt response), but: 1) it was a very impersonal, literally 3-word response reading 'we don't, sorry' without even the person signing off with their name or addressing me with mine, both of which are big no-nos in customer service (I know because I interact with customers for my own business on a daily basis), and 2) it was sent from a personal email address, which made it look very unprofessional and hard to identify the company it came from. Since I had sent the same email to two other competitors, at first I had no idea which company was the one that responded, and I literally had to go back to my 'sent' list and match the time of my original email to figure out which company had sent the response. In a nutshell, quite unprofessional customer service despite the speed of response. Also a somewhat misleading website, since they state that 'hospital admittance' is one of their services, but when asked whether they can do that for a prospective customer, they basically say no without even bothering to explain the reason (do they consider labor an emergency no matter what, even if it's at the earlier stages and nowhere near the baby coming? are they unable to arrange immediate transportation and can only do advance bookings?). It would be nice to know for future reference, but given their super brisk and indifferent tone, now I just won't even bother doing business with them ever. P.S. Just for comparison's sake, below is the (copy-pasted) response I received from one of the other companies I contacted and how starkly different it reads. I strongly recommend you take some cues and adopt a similar response style when dealing with customers: "Good Morning Christina, Thank you for your inquiry. Our company provides pre arranged transportation services and all reservations are scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Same day reservations are also accepted, only if there is availability, but are not guaranteed. The rates would be the same as on the website, in addition to a same day reservation charge if the transport is executed. Thank you for your time. (person's name)" read more

Please stay away from these people. This was my second time using their transportation services and just like the first time, they were late. I don't see why they make appointments if they don't bother to arrive on-time. When I called to see where the driver was, the phone operator Edgar was beyond rude. He kept trying to talk over me and make it seem like it was my fault the driver was late. I made it clear that my grandmother needs to at her clinic on-time or else she risks losing her appointment. Fearing that this might happen, I asked about a discount and Edgar stated that it was not his problem if the appointment was cancelled. When I asked what the hold up was with the driver, he stated that she was stuck in traffic. I firmly told him that traffic is not my problem - they should account for traffic delays. With phone operators like Edgar, I don't see how this place is even in business. If you need to be punctual, you're better off looking elsewhere. read more

So it's been about 19 days since my last review I have contacted the company many of times every time they leave me out waiting they have not corrected the problem nor do they seem interested in trying to . Since my last review I've only been picked up one time on time that was on a Friday when the driver wanted to go home early I continuously call the office and now they have told me that we wait up to a half hour for the drivers. I've also noticed now the van that they send for me is unsafe and not in very good working condition service engine lights are always on blinkers do not work the seats are torn the railing to stand on to get into the van are broken and loose I slipped once the ladies in the office and the other drivers joke around and mess around on the radio speaking of you but Spanish which is not a problem what language they speak but it is a problem the things that they say inappropriate for a company that has passengers this is a very unprofessional company and I really wish that Kaiser would check out the service and conditions of the vehicles once again if you are thinking of putting one of your loved ones elderly and sickly into one of these vans please think again or at least check it out yourself thank you very much .
