Glasses, Glasses, Glasses everywhere you look when you walk in. If you can't find a pair of frames…read morethat look good on you something is wrong. The downside is there are sooo many frames I found myself getting overwhelmed. After awhile they were looking all the same. Hence the reason I was there. I switched insurance companies at the beginning of the year, and my regular eye Dr wasn't on the list so I decided to check out ShopKo Optical. As soon as I entered the door, I was greeted by smiling faces. I was checked in within less than five minutes. Wow that's what I call service and with a smile no less. The new experience with the Dr went really smooth, and he answered all my questions. I only had a slight change in my eyes so I was happy about that. Glasses take about a week to make, so you will need to make another appointment to come back. On the return appointment I was in and out within 20 minutes. They did say that I could bring in my own sunglass frames and they would replace the lenses with my prescription for just the cost of the lenses. Parking is a nightmare as they share the parking lot with the bar next door.

There is ample parking in the parking lot, when you enter someone's always there to say hello and it's my recommendation that you accept their offer to help you find what you're looking for... at least the first few times until you get your footing. They have snacks too. There are some other good supplement resources housed inside grocery stores but this is all Shirlyn's specializes in, your good health.

What a fun shop, and I got to meet Amy, the owner, who was super helpful and explained how she tries to choose local brands and products that give back. I love all the murals on the walls and whimsy products that brought a smile to my face (gnomes). :) Amy showed me everything in the giveaway sampler bag, and she even threw in a sample for my cat, Sorsha's, achy joints. The consultation office in the back houses so many plant babies... can doctor's offices take note and do more of that please? We really liked Dave Larsen (Vice President) Dave was excellent to work with, Dave was 5 stars for…read moresure! So sad that Firmco lost Dave! Dave was very understanding and very helpful. We got behind on leases we had, because our businesses were slow. The fee's that Firmco charge if you are late are astronomical (over $10,000). Before Dave Larsen past a way, we had talked to Dave and he agreed to waive half the late fees for us on our three leases. Sharan even sent us an email with the total amounts with half the late fees taken off. We were able to get half the late fees waived off of one of the leases, however Sharan wanted all three leases paid off the end of June. Dave never said we had to pay all three leases off by the end of June to get half the late fees waived. Dave knew we could not pay all three leases off by the end of June. That was never agreed with Dave that we had to pay all three off by the end of June. (our stores are still closed due to COVID-19 over 5 1/2 months now) Pretty sad when Firmco will not honor Dave Larsen's (Vice President) word to us, waiving half the late fees on our leases as Dave agreed to do for us. Dave approved that for us. Now that Dave past away and is no longer at Firmco, Sharan will not honor Dave's word. (unbelievable and sad) We are pretty sure Dave would not be happy that Firmco is not honoring his word to us. (At least from us talking and meeting with Dave he was not like that at all) Not sure how Firmco can actually feel good about this. We would think Firmco would want Happy Customers. Dave would never ever treat his customers like that.
