I have been a client of Alpine Home medical since 2006. It in recently the service has gone down hill. I have received the wrong size head gear for my CPAP. I called and was informed the small size isn't carried in the stores so I would get a shipping label to send back the larger size. It's been about 3 weeks now and I have received nothing. Billing issues are another story that is never resolved. It's e to vet the insurance company involved. Once this issue is resolved I am terminating my business with Alpine. read more

The C-PAP did not do anything for me. Stopped using it. Then received constant resupply calls. Attempted to stop resupply. The received a resupply that I did not order. called and given a return label. Nothing happened for 2 or 3 weeks relative to a refund. Called resupply about a refund. They passed me off to billing. Billing said they had to talk to resupply. Nothing happened for a couple of weeks. Call resupply on July 17. They indicated a refund had been approved, but had to wait for billing cycle. Might get a check in August. This all started n June 17. Alpine is not efficient nor customer centric. read more

This review is specifically about Alpine Home Medical's power wheelchair service department. My ilevel feature on Quantum Edge 3 is malfunctioning so I filled out a service request on their website. I received a message saying I would be contacted in a day or two. After waiting 2 to 3 weeks with no response, I called Alpine and explained my problem to a woman. She told me someone would be in touch with me in a day or two. That was about a month ago and no one has ever contacted me. This is far from the only problem I have had with Alpine Home Medical for my chair, particularly at the Provo location, but this review is plenty long already. read more

I purchased equipment from them. And they wouldn't take the contractual adjustment my insurance had under their agreement. I paid almost double what I should have. I wouldn't even given 1 star but I could not move on. read more

Abysmal customer service. They get one star so I can give this review. In actuality they do not deserve one star! 4 calls to the office by us as customers, three by our doctor's office over several days. Called again today only to find out they have not even started their "review" of the prescription for oxygen. In the meantime we are here without the device we need. Horrible service, they don't follow up and expect you to do so, all while being on hold forever to get anyone to help you. Also a machine that is expected to last 4 years lasts 20 days and they won't replace it with a new one. Expected me to go 2 weeks without it, then returned it without power source. REFUSED to deliver it to me, their mistake, as they only have 2 drivers. How about a Uber delivery? Hold message promotes 5 stars of service. I say more like 5 stars of NO SERVICE. They act like they are the customer not you. RUN FROM ALPINE HOME MEDICAL! FIND ANOTHER DME VENDOR that has integrity. read more

I had a really weird and uncomfortable experience at Alpine Home Medical. This place was recommended by my doctor for a test and they are the only ones in the valley that does it for free. When I was being helped, I really found it wrong that they would yell over me to ask the next person what they needed help with and asked them personal medical information. I don't mind waiting, but to yell over me and have the person be on the spot to publicly declare their private medical information is wrong to me. They had HIPAA compliant paperwork out, face up on the counter. I just think it is really wrong to help more than 1 person if you can't serve their needs privately and respectfully. I sincerely hope they will improve the ethics and HIPAA compliance of their practice. Also, the monitor they gave me burned me? It was really weird. I had a very bad experience. read more

These people are just soooo bad! Needed medical equipment and called 5 different times to get status.... Always told it's in stock but they are working it with no expectation on when I would be helped. Not sure what is so difficult here. Receptionist, if you can get to answer the phone is annoyed to be bothered and not helpful. Been going to these people for years and I need to find another better supplier! I have tried calling multiple times and at the 15 minute mark I get sent to voicemail, no one ever answers the phone. I sent a text 2 days ago and no answer either. If I had the option I wouldn't use them. read more

I would give Zero stars if I could. I have never had so many problems with a company. My husband and I both have a C-pap and based on my insurance I was told to get the machine and everything at Alpine. Other that the first time picking up the machine everything has been a nightmare. Trying to reorder supplies is a nightmare. They don't allow you to go in and pick up an item so we had to go several days without the use of the machine waiting for a part to ship to me. They tend to ship you the wrong stuff . Then the billing department cant bill anything correctly. They continue to bill for returned items. My husband has 2 insurances but they bill the wrong one first, then after calling them several times they finally bill the correct one but still send me a bill for the full amount and not what the insurance said I owed. I would rather pay more money that deal with this company again. In fact I now buy all my supplies off Amazon and spend much less without using insurance as the prices are not over inflated. read more

I have had to deal with Alpine Home Medical for 20-30 years. They have crappy service and just want to give you supplies you don't need for which they charge you, your insurance, medicare, etc. Note that often it is cheaper to buy the producs you need online via Amazon than to pay your insurance deductible. And you certainly will get faster service. I sure wish there were some good alternatives for things you cannot get without a doctors order. read more

is seriously the worst company to work with can't get a hold of any one in the billing department they say they'll call you back and never receive a phone call. I have paid my payments. They said that you'll get one more payment and then you'll get a bill for another payment and then you call. They said that this is the last one you won't receive anything else then you receive another bill and then you call and they say you owe two more payments and it never ends. What a joke. read more

Literally the worst company to deal with! My son is on oxygen full time. We purchased a portable pediatric concentrator from them 2 1/2 years ago paying over $5000 out of pocket only to have it completely die on us. He was sating in the low 70's and a representative from Alpine told me there was nothing they could do because they only offer a year warranty. I tried to order oxygen tanks for him and was told we couldn't have tanks and a concentrator. Again, his concentrator is dead. They clearly do not care about the health and well being of their clients. read more

Finally! The day came that I could get my CPAP. Due to a national shortage, I'd been waiting 6 months. Darlene said she would text me the location where I was supposed to go. No text. So I called her back. No answer. Left message. No call, no text. Left another message. No call, no text. Called the 1-800 number. The helpful representative said to go to the Murray location. Yes! I get to the store and... "You're supposed to go to the Draper store." Okay. Fortunately, I didn't get pulled over or in an accident. My seriously sleep deprived brain is not happy, but still hopeful. The folks at the Draper store were sweet and understanding and Gary was great in getting me set up on the CPAP. Gave me his card and said, "Call me anytime, day or night for help." So, I'm having issues and I called on a Friday morning. Left a message. Called again Friday afternoon. Left a message. Tuesday morning. Wednesday Morning. The online chat representative gave me Darlene's number to call again. No answer. I'm just saying. read more
