Then she told me I had to reschedule because I was 15 minutes late and the earliest I could be seen was a month away (!). Another time, I called to speak to a nurse at 10am and left a message. I didn't get a call back for over four hours (!). After she spoke to the doctor about my symptoms, she said an antibiotic could not be prescribed without me being seen (although this has been done in the past for this same ailment) and that I was welcome to visit the emergency room. I was offered an appointment the next day, but I could have been prescribed something in advance to hold me over. I've been a patient there at least 10 years. I don't think the doctors know their patients very well anymore or maybe they are overwhelmed and can't keep track of them.

As a healthy individual who prefers the convenience of telehealth visits or calling in prescriptions, I was shocked by how rigid, dismissive & business oriented they've become. They outright refused to accommodate my request for a simple tele-visit or prescription refill, instead they wanted to force me to come into the office for the same conversation and medication I've been taking for years. It felt like they cared more about billing for an in-person visit than respecting my time or needs. This level of inflexibility and disregard for patient convenience is unacceptable, especially after decades of loyalty. The whole experience was frustrating and unnecessary, and it has made me seriously question whether this office still values its patients. It's incredibly disappointing to see this kind of treatment after so many years, and I will be reconsidering my options moving forward.

"I had to wait until a room was available." Isn't that part of scheduling? Or do the excuses just rotate, regardless of what is true? I left. My time is valuable, too.

All the doctors on staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and go to great lengths to make sure their patients are comfortable, informed, and well cared-for. While I've also seen the other doctors in the practice once or twice, my PCP is Dr. Melrose, and he's delightful. An affable guy without any of the arrogance that you often see in other doctors, Dr. Melrose -- and his angel of an assistant Charlene -- both take wonderful care of their patients. He never makes you feel like you're taking up valuable time, and is perfectly happy to spend as much time as needed with each patient. The front-office staff is very friendly and welcoming as well, and the clinic itself is clean, brightly-lit, and quite nice. Best of all, I've never waited more than 10 minutes for an appointment, and 95% of the time, I'm seen within five minutes of walking through the door. My only regret is that I didn't switch to GVFM sooner. So long as I live in this area, I'll never, ever go to another practice. LOVE these guys!

I waited a day then called the office and asked to speak to the PA however, the PA was busy. 30 mins later some unknown person called me and told me the PA said there was no problem. His front staff was very rude, unpleasant, every time I went in I would get stressed. I'm a severely disabled individual with a cervical and lumbar fusion who Dr. Khalifa literally treated with disregard. Someone I used to know went to him for almost a year every two weeks and he would sign notes for to keep her off from work when she was perfectly healthy just because he knew her brother. If you are looking for a reputable physician who is going to care about you as an individual and not because of your social standards do not go to this guy. I am in the best hands in another clinic. I wrote this review from the goodness of my heart and hope that other people can avoid the trauma that I went though. I had to file a complaint with my insurance company about the incident all he said was that he will try better. Not good enough for all the trauma and disrespect that i have endured.
