As a healthy individual who prefers the convenience of telehealth visits or calling in prescriptions, I was shocked by how rigid, dismissive & business oriented they've become. They outright refused to accommodate my request for a simple tele-visit or prescription refill, instead they wanted to force me to come into the office for the same conversation and medication I've been taking for years. It felt like they cared more about billing for an in-person visit than respecting my time or needs. This level of inflexibility and disregard for patient convenience is unacceptable, especially after decades of loyalty. The whole experience was frustrating and unnecessary, and it has made me seriously question whether this office still values its patients. It's incredibly disappointing to see this kind of treatment after so many years, and I will be reconsidering my options moving forward.

It was such a great surprise when I realized that I still have the same patient portal, with all my records easily available. What has struck me the most is the level of communication with the staff. My care team is easily accessible via the patient portal for questions and concerns. When ordering an additional test based on blood test results, I received a call explaining why the test was requested, what it was looking for, and not to worry :-) I'm really happy with the level of care that I'm receiving.

Every time I see her she is very empathetic and I've often had to write her via our patient portal for all kinds of different things, she is extremely responsive and always helps me no matter what my issue is. All the doctors on staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and go to great lengths to make sure their patients are comfortable, informed, and well cared-for. While I've also seen the other doctors in the practice once or twice, my PCP is Dr. Melrose, and he's delightful. An affable guy without any of the arrogance that you often see in other doctors, Dr. Melrose -- and his angel of an assistant Charlene -- both take wonderful care of their patients. He never makes you feel like you're taking up valuable time, and is perfectly happy to spend as much time as needed with each patient. The front-office staff is very friendly and welcoming as well, and the clinic itself is clean, brightly-lit, and quite nice. Best of all, I've never waited more than 10 minutes for an appointment, and 95% of the time, I'm seen within five minutes of walking through the door. My only regret is that I didn't switch to GVFM sooner. So long as I live in this area, I'll never, ever go to another practice. LOVE these guys!

Then she told me I had to reschedule because I was 15 minutes late and the earliest I could be seen was a month away (!). Another time, I called to speak to a nurse at 10am and left a message. I didn't get a call back for over four hours (!). After she spoke to the doctor about my symptoms, she said an antibiotic could not be prescribed without me being seen (although this has been done in the past for this same ailment) and that I was welcome to visit the emergency room. I was offered an appointment the next day, but I could have been prescribed something in advance to hold me over. I've been a patient there at least 10 years. I don't think the doctors know their patients very well anymore or maybe they are overwhelmed and can't keep track of them.

Kids missed their school & I missed my work. Guess wat Dr. was not available & they sent me msg to confirm the appointment. Lady at the front desk was very rude & for new appointment I said give me any day but Wednesday and Thursday but again she gave me Thursday appointment for one of my child. Took my family member here for a walk in appointment for what appeared to be a sinus infection…read more After a course of antibiotics from an urgent care, they still had symptoms There is a large sign on Business Rte 30 saying they take walk ins. They don't always take walk ins, we learned. If there is a hole in the schedule, they will plug you in or schedule you for another day, if they can. Care here was thorough. I did not have to pay anything upfront but it appears that that depends on insurance. Follow-up was not with a doctor but with a PA. There was a lot of push at the follow up for allergy testing. (There is some history of that) but considering allergy shots/treatment was not something we wanted we did not sign up for that that day. OTC treatments were suggested and followed and this brought enough relief

I've been asking them to send a script to a place that would and even though they keep claiming they did the other place keeps saying they never got it. They also don't print up after visit notes and when I asked if they could give me a list of allergies I tested positive for (I have ADHD and struggle to remember things) they said they would and never did. Considering their patient portal doesn't work this is extremely irresponsible.
