It's a nice neighborhood across from beautiful river. It's located the inside of the nice cobblestone Street in The residential area. People very friendly and service was ok. Appetizer I order was falafel it was very delicious! I was so hungry forgot to take a picture but believe me it's good! Food was OK. Nothing special. I thought when I order couscous with chicken and vegetable would look more invited, but was OK ,little bit dry but I added olive oil, little magic salt and pepper and it added some flavor to taste better! Good coffee, good scrambled eggs and pancakes...and if you've been in Rome for any length of time you know finding good scrambled eggs is a big ask (they are usually scrambled to the point of powder). The price is fair as well - 8€ for eggs, sausage and pancakes. Service is fine. I've been there a lot so they have warmed up. The ambience is modernish American diner. The bathroom though - make sure you don't need to use it before you leave your house/hotel because it's not great. read more

I feel sad. This place is promoting American style food and bar experience. Food is mediocre and the loud rock and roll just made me feel like the stereotype of what we used to be still resounds around the world. The American style breakfast was poor in contrast to all the other options available in this city, poor choice on our behalf. Another Trastevere restaurant, literally across the river. It's one of the first places you see coming off of Ponte Sisto bridge. The restaurant is modern and clean looking. Dim lighting gives a late night, pensive feel. The whole theme is mechanical with gears and auto decor. To start, we got the selezione di salumi. Simple and tasty, but I would have liked more bread. Then we got the spaghetto cacio e Pepe. The pasta was great and the sauce was different than any pasta we got previously. It was similar to an American alfredo sauce. We also got the classic hamburger because I was maxed out on pasta. The burger was cooked well and was served with chips. Service was fair and you pay at the front when you're done. The Italian man at the register talked with his and said that he had been in Chicago ten years ago, so we chatted. My mom and I went for a late lunch. We were getting sick of the food around all of the tourist locations, so we ventured to Trastevere. We ordered the cheese omelette, Mixed Grain salad and the chicken cous cous. Everything was delicious and the presentation was fabulous. Every meal exiting the kitchen looked delicious. We ended our meal with a cappuccino which was strong but yummy. The waitress was so sweet. I ended up tipping her because I loved how attentive and kind she was even though she was the only server in the whole restaurant (inside and outside dining). I cant praise this place enough. Upon arriving you can't help but wander in to grab either an espresso or wine. We went up to order 2 cappacinos at the bar stand up service. We say buongiorno and are greeted with an instant "pay first - you have to pay first over there". We did as such and ordered 2 proseccos as well and were also greeted with nothing but frowns and frustrated faces. Our eggs were runny and not even recognizable as eggs honestly. I really don't even know how they could mess them up that bad. We were only given one sausage and it was like a tiny, crusty little strip- honestly looked like leftovers. The toast-seemed like they put it in an oven for 1 minutes and thought that was alright. Overall, very rude service. They don't seem to care about their customers at all and definitely don't care about the food they are giving to patrons. They have a lot of American food here and since we were visiting from the US we decided to skip the meal and just have drinks to hold out for Italians fare.
