Their pizza is great, their hamburgers are some of the best I've had in bars, their broasted chicken is fantastic and their fish fry is superb - with one caveat...no coleslaw! :( They have lots of fun activities throughout the year, including a faux election and parade to raise money for their own local charity, to help local families facing tragedy. The owner isn't the most outgoing fellow, but he hires good people who are friendly and work hard, and he is constantly on the scene, overseeing the details and making sure all the behind-the-scenes things get done. Which is probably why they are CONSISTENTLY a great place to visit! My vote for Best Tavern Within A 30 Mile Radius Of the Middle of Nowhere. :D
