I generally like this store. They carry lots of vegan products for my liking and my family likes…read moretheir fresh meat section. They do sometimes run out of their meat items but last time they made fresh Burger patties for me while I waited. The croissants are nice but have already gone up in price since they opened just a couple of months ago. The hot table has tasty items but they don't seem to change the variety very often and it's usually sold out and not replenished towards the last 2 hours that they are open. They do not carry everything that bigger stores carry and this is frustrating as I often have to go to another store after shopping here. Staff are friendly and store is clean and eating area/patio are tidy.

There's a small lot just West of the store OR parking garage just located kiddie corner to the store, attached to the small lot. First, I'm not 100% sold on Farm Boy - maybe it's because it was purchased by Sobey's and I do not get the comparison to Trader Joe's...of which I'm a HUGE fan of. (Personally, a better comparison would be Whole Foods with more emphasis on produce.) However, this area desperately NEEDED a grocery store especially with all the new Brightwater community which is partially built already. This particular store is maybe 1/4 of the size of the Etobicoke location and definitely smaller than the Oakville one. It's fairly small, but I think it carries all the essentials. And there are some cheaper items, namely the bakery stuff, which brings in the customers. I must say that Hot Bar looked REALLY good and fresh! I hope there are enough customers to keep the turnover rate up. This area also NEEDS prepared/to-go food with the demographics there. Overall, this Farm Boy offers a nicer grocery shopping experience. Only time will tell whether or not they continue to do well! P.S. They don't sell any beer/wine at this location, BUT...they're opening up an LCBO at the other end of the plaza.

A coupla units down from Stonehooker is Lakeview Cheese Galore, a specialty cheese shop. Aside…read morefrom cheeses, they also sell jams, spreads, a small selection of cured sausages, & non-alcoholic drinks like cold brew, kombucha, cider, etc. Store itself is quite small. And according to the friendly male staff member who helped me, about 70% of the cheeses are locally produced. I believe they also make cheese platters for parties. Since the store is small, it is not really meant for browsing. It is best if you're cooking or just want a bunch of cheeses and someone to help you pick out something according to your palate/recipe. 5* service all the way! I was even offered a sample of a caramelized onion cheddar. It was delicious. Of course, it's on the pricey side, priced per 100g. It was $5-6/0.25" slice of cheese. This is GREAT if you're not a huge cheese eater and just want enough for something that you're eating without wasting the rest of the brick. There is a small outdoor seating area, but I'm not sure what it's for. Do they do grilled cheese?? That would be a GREAT idea as this area doesn't have much food options. Highly recommended for cheese lovers...or those who try to be!
