What a beautiful ode to a trade that is slowly disappearing. There are pockets of the craft coming back and it's good to see it represented at Meatsmith. Andrew McConnell has a burgeoning empire and a bespoke meat shop is now on the list/Beef, poultry, pork, lamb cuts abound. A great selection of cured meats, charcuterie and fresh sausages.....even wine, condiments, seasonings and cook books. Was surprised to see many selections around the world. Since Im getting on a plane soon I had to get some thing that would hold. Beseola, casalingo and pastrami are making to replace the airplane food that as you know isnt all that great. If only i were around longer with access to cooking facilities! read more
