The problem isn't the space itself, more that I have spent time in its sibling supermarket in Heidelberg. That location has wide aisles, great lighting, windows and feels spacious, not so Kew. It does gourmet as well as anyone though and is a great place to browse. You can buy dairy products from Schultz, bread from the likes of Zealey Bay, dips from Pilpel, icecream from Gundowing and don't even get me started on the chocolate selection... I always need to avoid that aisle lest I throw 100 bars of Simon Coll 70% cocoa in my basket. It's a great place to stock up on all your favourite epicurean delights while also grabbing those boring household essentials. The wine and booze selection is adequate if you desperately need something but don't expect to find unusual bottles here. This is the one area that doesn't seem to have been blessed with the same attention to detail.
