Comic-book themed coffee shop with delicious drinks + a large variety of unique drink creations The place can be difficult to find, as they are part of a large strip mall complex but they don't have a big sign out front The space has a fun vibe with lots of nods to comic books, but the decor is a little run-down Only have a few pastries for food + 3 types of breakfast empanadas. My fiance and I each enjoyed the pastries that we got however Our lattes were great

Dirty chai & hot cocoa

Super cute cafe, perfect spot to just chill on winter day. Ordered hot chocolate and dirty chai. Friend enjoyed his cocoa, my dirty chai was bit too dirty (not a fan) - should have stuck with regular chai latte. Parking is almost impossible, garage is a must. Super friendly service. Overall nice spot to meet a friend.

I like the comic book store theme that they have going on at this coffee shop. They also have specialty drinks depending on the season and I think that is well thought. The specialty drinks are pretty standard and honestly the cost (which isn't available at the board) is about 7.50 for a small is kind of overboard. I got the peppermint brownie latte which was more of a peppermint mocha. It was pretty though. Service is okay.

A local, vibe-y, comic book coffee shop! For a weekend, the coffee shop wasn't busy at all, and seems like the perfect place to just chill. Got a classic iced vanilla latte and their beef empanada. The latte was pretty good, but coffee was bit on the lighter side, slightly more milky where the oat milk taste was a bit more apparent (at least from what I used to). For the beef empanada, you have to eat it right away, even if it means burning your mouth off, if you want that crispiness :') otherwise if you wait too long, it will become soggy Quick Note - did overhear that their wifi has been slow lately, so just a heads-up for anyone looking to do work some or be productive there! Would definitely comeback when in the area :)

Lady Matcha (matcha latte with strawberry cold foam)

Really cute cafe!! The servers were super nice about answering questions. On a recommendation from a friend we got matcha lattes. One had a strawberry cold foam, which was SO good. Highly recommend this place for matcha!!! Some of the best matcha we've had. We'll be back to try the coffee at some point!

Specialty drink from Halloween

I will come back again and again! Each season they have new specialty drinks and they always nail their flavors. They have local vendors supply pastries and empanadas (get it early, they do sell out!) and they regularly have fun community events. What more could you want from a local business :) I saw some reviews that mentioned the price being higher, but honestly it's pretty standard for most non-Starbucks coffee shops now. I'm happy to pay a little more to support a small business and for coffee that tastes better, and if I'm getting two fancy lattes per week that's only like an extra hundred dollars per YEAR... Worth it!

Meanwhile Coffee, located at Woodland Park Crossing in Herndon, VA, offers a variety of seasonal specialty coffees, including Peppermint Brownie Latte and Gingerbread Cookie Latte. The cozy, quirky atmosphere features comic and pop art graphics in frames, toys, plants, board games, and more, along with comfortable seating, making it an ideal spot for remote work or relaxation. The cafe also serves locally sourced pastries and features a Christmas tree at the entrance, adding a festive, inviting touch. We sampled their drinks, which were excellent--the iced caramel latte was perfect, and the matcha latte demonstrated quality. However, the banana walnut muffin was sweeter than expected, almost like chewing on sugar, though it was warmed before serving. The service was friendly, but more baristas might improve wait times, as drinks took a while to prepare.

Great little cafe with a nerd vibe I'm all about. It was really calm since I think the area is still being built out and there's not a lot of traffic. One of the owners was pulling espresso and was super friendly. Lots of locals and regulars showed up and there was a ton of great community building. I didn't try their empanadas or baked goods but they looked good. If I were in the area this would be a great place to work from. They also do a ton of cool community-focused events. It'll be a shop added to my rotation, for sure.

great vibes, great service, good coffee! a lot of nova cafes have gotten way too busy and crowded and this cafe was a nice change of pace. it's got interesting decor, good music playing, and overall good vibes. The pumpkin pie shaken espresso was a little too sweet for me, but i'll be back to try other things for sure!

Cute local coffee shop in the Herndon area! Not too busy when we went on a weekend and there's plenty of space to study and do work. I got two specialty lattes to try - (iced decaf) Nutty French Toast & (hot) Nutella latte. I would've liked more of the flavor (e.g. more French toast and more Nutella flavor) but they were not too sweet overall! I also got a beef empanada to try - the beef was well seasoned but unfortunately the crust was very soggy. I'll definitely be back to try their other non-specialty drinks and their other bakery items! The decor is comic-booked/pop themed with plenty of books and board games in the corner!

Chorizo empanada, chimichurri sauce, frosted berry latte.

Friendly, helpful staff and a cool vibe. It's a relatively new, comic-themed cafe, and it looks like their building community, not just selling coffee. I like their salted caramel matcha latte; also tried the frosted berry latte which is unique, but too sweet for me. They've got limited pastries, and also empanadas for breakfast, brewing Counter Culture Coffee, roasters based in NC.

Strawberry rose matchas!

The drinks are amazing -- I got the strawberry rose matcha with my friend plus the inside of the shop is so cute and comic book themed which makes it a fun vibe. Plus they have games and community events that I'm looking forward to.

Macchiato tasted like mud. No sizes listed on the menu. Receipt said 8 oz, my cup was maybe 8 oz and was 1/4 filled.

This place is cozy and I like the decor! The service was great! My coffee was amazing! Normally I'll get a regular cup of coffee but today I got a dirty chai latte with an extra shot of espresso. AMAZING! Overall, great coffee shop! I true hidden gem!

I have found the coffee shop I didn't know I was looking for…read more My wife told me I needed to check out Weird Brothers Coffee because, as she put it, "You're a huge Star Wars nerd. You're going to love this place." She knows me well. Walking into Weird Brothers feels a little like stumbling into the cantina after taking a wrong turn through Mos Eisley. The place is loaded with Star Wars, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and Nightmare Before Christmas memorabilia. As a longtime Star Wars fan and hardcore comic collector, I immediately went into "Okay, let's see what they have" mode. And that's before even getting to the coffee. Weird Brothers roasts their own beans and has a bunch of sci-fi-themed blends. The names alone had me reaching for my wallet. I'm the kind of person who will buy a comic because it says "First Appearance" on the bag, so naturally I'm susceptible to coffee with a geeky name. They even have a special blend for the CrossFit gym next door, which I thought was a pretty cool touch. Nothing says community partnership quite like supplying caffeine to people voluntarily throwing heavy objects around at 6 a.m. Supporting your neighboring businesses? +5 reputation points. Now, about the food... Come here for the coffee. When we visited, they were completely out of the breakfast sandwiches. The remaining options were quiches, so we grabbed the ham & cheese and spinach. Unfortunately, they weren't freshly made and were simply reheated. They were perfectly edible, but definitely more "side quest" than "main storyline." The Americano, however, was good. That's what brought me back to the primary mission: coffee and geeky stuff. I definitely want to return and pick up a few bags of their beans. At this point, I'm basically looking at the coffee menu the same way I look at a wall of long boxes at a comic shop: "I don't need all of these... but I should probably check every single one just in case there's a key." Four stars for the coffee, atmosphere, in-house roasting, and ridiculous amount of geek cred. The food kept this from going to five stars, but I'll absolutely be back. Now excuse me while I go investigate these coffee blends like I'm hunting for a first appearance of Boba Fett in a stack of back issues. May the roast be with you.

Flavors are chocolate, caramel and coconut. I've tried the other latte specials as well, but this is by far my favorite. The coffee itself tastes amazing. The staff are so friendly and attentive. They are pretty fast about getting your order out as well. The Atmosphere: Nice and small coffee shop. Not a lot of seating inside, but the vibes here are very nice. Feels very much like a "local iykyk" kind of spot. Overall, a 5/5. One definitely recommend trying Weird Brothers.
