The place is spacious with comfortable seating, board games, colorful decor, and plenty of space to hang out, study, or work. I met up with friends and their kids there, and it honestly felt like the perfect place for both adults and children to relax and spend time together. I ordered the iced Earl Grey Matcha, which had earthy matcha layered with lavender cold foam, and I absolutely loved it. Smooth, refreshing, and unique without being overly sweet. Sourdough Brioche Cinnamon Roll was really good as well. One thing to keep in mind is that they have a limited stock of pastries, so if you want to try their baked goods, its definitely best to visit early before they sell out. I also love the story behind the shop. The owners are educators from Texas who pursued their dream of opening a coffee shop. As an educator myself, also from TX, I really appreciated that they celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week for educators. My friends who homeschool their kids unfortunately weren't able to get the teacher discount because they didn't have school IDs, but hopefully that's something they can consider expanding next year. read more

I will come back again and again! Each season they have new specialty drinks and they always nail their flavors. They have local vendors supply pastries and empanadas (get it early, they do sell out!) and they regularly have fun community events. What more could you want from a local business :) I saw some reviews that mentioned the price being higher, but honestly it's pretty standard for most non-Starbucks coffee shops now. A local, vibe-y, comic book coffee shop! For a weekend, the coffee shop wasn't busy at all, and seems like the perfect place to just chill. Got a classic iced vanilla latte and their beef empanada. The latte was pretty good, but coffee was bit on the lighter side, slightly more milky where the oat milk taste was a bit more apparent (at least from what I used to). Super cute addition to the greater Herndon area. We have only been in for seasonal drinks, but both the apple and S'mores latte so far have been delicious. Service is prompt and the staff is very kind and attentive. Each time they were able to give us suggestions as to what to order. Drinks are a bit expensive. Parking at this shopping center is also very strangely set up. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place for local coffee. A comic themed coffee shop is an interesting thing to walk into in the middle of corporate land-Reston. It sits in a nice corner lot in a fairly sleepy and small shopping center. Drunk menu was unique enough that they had their own small-cafe flare on a number of things. Overall drink worked and flavors were good. Limited assortment of the cafe "bake" supplies, so this is mostly a coffee pitstop and or sit and chill & chat. GPS maps for the address barely gets it wrong from the corner to up the street, but it's easy enough to find parking to deal with that. read more

Great little cafe with a nerd vibe I'm all about. It was really calm since I think the area is still being built out and there's not a lot of traffic. One of the owners was pulling espresso and was super friendly. Lots of locals and regulars showed up and there was a ton of great community building. I didn't try their empanadas or baked goods but they looked good. If I were in the area this would be a great place to work from. They also do a ton of cool community-focused events. So excited to have a new coffee shop in town! My husband stopped by yesterday and got a delicious cortado from a seemingly experienced barista. Stopped by again today and it took a little while to order our mocha latte and cappuccino, and the baristas seemed a little greener, but our drinks were still pretty good! The offerings are your typical coffee shop options along with a specialty drink (which is currently a cinnamon glazed latte). I do like that they use Counter Culture beans too! On top of that, they have the classic coffee shop pastries from Fresh Baguette (I think), as well as Empanadas from Empanadas de Mendoza! Overall, I think the shop is still a work in progress, but I think it can be great once they iron out the kinks! read more

Really nice to have a coffee spot in this shopping center. If you want this place to survive, you'll look at your competitors and price yourself closer to what is considered acceptable. In my neighborhood I know tons of folks who don't come here because of the pricing. You have decent coffee and snacks, but you're losing out on profits just because you're very very unreasonably priced. I urge the business owner to figure out the pricing strategy. It's not just in the food. You can also just see that in the merchandise laying around. They're selling stickers for four dollars a piece which is ridiculous. Consumers aren't stupid and this place almost makes me feel like they think we are. Moved to the area just about 2 months ago and have already been here 10+ times! I usually go for a cappuccino or cortado, and my husband orders a mocha.
